[Black] I'm a nertwork DP and I bought this light to replace a lost 1K Arrilite and it is fantastic! I love it. Everything about the design is perfect. It has a handle on the back to manipulate the instrument when it's hot. It disipates heat very well. They've redesigned the reflector and it puts out a lot of light! It's lighter and smaller than the 1K. The included speed ring is an added bonus to use with my soft-box. In short this instrument is awesome! I plan to buy another soon.

[PLA] Having this in our arsenal is great. The light performs well and having a Chimera Speed Ring as part of the light is an added bonus.

[PLA] I bought this insert to fully compartmentalize one of my Domke F-2 bags. It works like a charm. This insert is a change from the older styles in that the interior wall of the insert is (re)moveable. Therefore, there is really no reason to ever by the similarly-sized single compartment insert. I also use this as my only insert in my F-2 on occasions when I need to mount a larger lens on my DSLR or need to carry bulky items. Like all Domke products I've used, it is well-constructed and I anticipate that it will give me many years of service.

[Black] Very punchy and powerfull light. Equals to the output of Arri T1. Works like a charm with Chimera softboxes with no additional speedrings. Light, bright.

[PLA] I've owned a few of these fixtures for a couple of years. They are small, powerful and well built. I appreciate the well thought out access for changing globes. The only negative in my mind is not so much with the fixture, but the HPL globes - they are very sensitive. Any shock to the light while it's on, and the globe will likely fail. That's happened more than once.

[Black] Paired with my beautiful new waxed cotton shoulder bag this insert makes the perfect shooter bag for me. I can carry three small manual Nikon lenses in the insert and then slip my D7000 with lens along side it. People complain about Domke stuff at times because it doesn't protect my gear. No, you are right. What it does is make it accessible in a smart fashion. Insurance protects your gear. I use my cameras, and like to be able to get them out quickly and this accomplishes that beautifully.

[Black] The 750 provides the light I needed to do video at a low OSI. I shoot video with a Nikon D800, and I find that I can shoot at an ISO of 200 using two Arrilite 750. Originally I thought of using the 750 lamp for main and the 550 lamp for the fill. I've decided it is more practical to use the 750 lamp in both. If the fill needs to be less intense, I can simply back the fill light stand back or add a grid. I ended up getting an extra set of the accessory holder. Why? One accessory holder is used for a soft box, allowing me to use the second accessory holder for the barn doors. I'm using the Impact 16x24 Luxbank Duo. They work fine. You do NOT want to use the interior diffuser when using constant light, because it gets too hot. In fact, you also want all four air vents to be open. Nor do you want to close the soft box at the back; just keep the flaps open to allow the heat to disperse. Con: The on/off switch is located 4.5' down the cable. In most cases that puts the switch on the ground. If you don't mind bending over, it's not a big issue. Pro: As you would hope for a constant light, it is perfectly quiet.
