[1.25 lb] Full disclosure, I bought this lens because of its looks. I am that shallow! But, boy I was impressed. Its metal construction, its small size, its clicky aperture and the screw-in metal cap....and amazingly beautiful! And the image, really sharp at wide open. The bokeh is like if it was a 1.2 aperture. I compared head to head with my Panasonic 25mm 1.7, and the bokeh is way superior on the TT Artisans. And the colors too! For $55 it's a no brainer! Just get it and thank me later. One thing, for a reason I can't understand it cannot be used with IS on my Pen F, it drives the IS crazy. It works great on my OM-5 and G9. If you need a 25mm lens, get this one, if you don't mind manual focus. It will make you a better photographer.... :)

[105°] This is such a nice little lens. I love small pancake lenses like this, and for the price point you really can't get any better than this. It was briefly unavailable for the Canon EF-M style but B&H let me know as soon as was available once again and I couldn't resist

[105°] I carefully compared photographs of variegated brick walls taken with this TTArtisan 25mm f2.0 lens, an Olympus autofocus M. Zuiko 25mm f1.8 prime lens, and the Olympus M. Zuiko Digital 14-42 f3.5-f5.6 autofocus zoom lens. At 10x manifcation on a side-by-side display on my computer screen I could see no differences in focus among the lenses. I found no fall-off in performance at the corners with the TTArtisan. I made comparisons at f8.0, f5.4, and f2.0 using the lenses capable of each setting. The lack of fall-off at the corners can be attributed to the small Micro Four Thirds sensor, in comparison to the APS-C sensor the lens was designed for.
One perplexing difference was that the TTArtisans lens is 0.5 EV (one-half stop) brighter [sic] than the two Olympus lenses, when the aperture and shutter speeds are manually set to identical values across lenses, at all three apertures.
Here's the caveat: My lens arrived with the focus ring so far out of calibration that actual infinite focus occurred at an indicated distance midway between the 3 and the ∞ (infinity) markings. This is not hard to fix. It requires loosening the three tiny screws on the ring while the lens is set at infinity, and then repositioning the ring so that it reads correctly. Since the lens construction is of very high quality so far as I can tell, I wonder if the factory is failing to recalibrate the focus ring when adapters for different cameras are added. Correcting the miscalibration will be important for successful use of this manual lens.
Once the focus ring is calibrated, five full stars are deserved.

[f/16] Honestly I didn’t have high expectations for this lens. It has become my daily driver for my Lumix G85, the images come out sharp and honestly love the look it brings out.

[8] Package is classy and the lens is solid being full metal with the exception of my E-mount body cap. It feels precise and provides a great aperture range. First photos are very good but demonstrate the need to manually focus your subject. No issues to report and for the price I will recommend.

[f/2] I purchased this as an experiment/replacement for my troubled 14-42mm kit lens and have been very impressed with the results. The glass combined with the fully-manual operation give a more vintage/filmlike feel to the end result, and it's worked well as an everyday lens for everything from travel to pet photography.

With the 2x crop factor for this lens, it works as the equivalent of the popular 50mm prime. The construction quality is very high particularly for the affordable price point. The aperture ring is of the clicky variety.

I've had no issues with the physical fit or the operation on my OMD EM10 MkIII; using it isn't very difficult once you understand how to use the camera in manual mode. When shooting you almost feel like you're operating a classic Pentax or Olympus half-frame film camera except that the results are instantaneous.

If you haven't used fully-manual lenses, there will be a learning curve, but it's not that bad; overall I prefer the results I get with this lens, and in most ways it's a lot more fun.

[f/16] Pancake design is great for pairing with small apsc cameras. I have this lens with the Sony zve10, renders well for the price point. Fun little lens with manual functionality.

[f/2] Being a somewhat simple lens design, it provides an experience similar to a vintage lens with a 50mm equivalent focal length on MFT while also staying compact and having pretty decent modern coatings for what it is. There are going to be little things here and there, but for around 50-60USD you're getting a huge bargain for a vintage feeling 50mm equivalent lens. I'd say if you want a manual focus nifty fifty with a bit of character for MFT, this lens is going to be hard to beat for the price.
