[0.645 lb] The search for a glove that keeps my hands warm (enough) and isn't bulky is finally over. I really enjoy this glove.

[Unisex L] I love these, they're so incredibly well thought out for every detail. They're warm and comfortable. The wrist straps make it easy when you're regularly taking them on and off as I always am. The liner gloves are decently warm if it's not too freezing out - it's been a mild winter for New Hampshire, but I often find myself just leaving the liner gloves on and having the outer gloves hanging by the straps in case I want to put them back on for warmth. The gloves have both magnets and snaps to stay together for storage/carrying, plus the attached ring for hanging them off of something. And - bonus - as it turns out, the zippered pocket on the back is the perfect size for a ski lift card. Just really happy with these and appreciate all of the attention to detail.

[Unisex L] Only had these a short while but they appear really well made. They are really warm and feel really nice. The magnets simply work to reveal your fingers when required and slip back into the warmth of the glove.

[0.645 lb] Had my last pair of Vallerret gloves for 5 years and bought another pair as they are amazing. So warm in the coldest of conditions, comfortable, well made, quality materials. I work outside all year taking photos and these get me thru the winter. Recommended.

[Unisex L] This is an easy review. WARM. Easy to use with your camera. Tested down to -20....and they were great. Worth the $$. Very high quality and the finger cuffs work perfectly.

[Unisex L] Used these a few days ago for a 3 hour photo hike in 15 degrees F (= -9.5 C). Kept my hands nice and warm, was really happy. Maybe my little finger got a tiny bit cold so all I needed to do was pull them in for a few mins then extend again. But honestly it was quite cold so something like that is to be expected. I used a cheaper pair of gloves later that day outside for something else and my entire hand was cold. These are fantastic, can recommend them confidently. Size is fairly true - I'd normally use a large and these fit (perhaps a tiny bit more snugly than others but that's good for photography).

[Unisex L] These gloves appear to be well made and top quality. I received them today (11/30) but was not able to use them out in the field yet, so I can't really comment on how well they keep my hands warm at this time.


I ordered a size XL based on the sizing chart on the Vallerret website, and am glad I did. On the Hand Girth section (9 to 9.8) my hand measurement was a tad over 9, the minimum. But my hand measured 7.5 for the hand length, which was the max for size medium, and the minimum for the Large size. I considered ordering a Large pair, but went with XL and am glad I did. They fit perfectly, a bit snug, but not tight.


Another reviewer said they were floppy and had no substance to them. I did not see this at all with my pair of Tinden gloves. They fit my hand perfectly, I am able to move and bend my fingers easily, and the finger tip folds back no problem and the magnets hold it back securely.


Overall, at the moment I am pleasantly happy with these gloves and would recommend them. The big test will be wearing them out in the field and seeing how well they keep my hands warm. If they fail at that, I will update my review.

[0.645 lb] my hands are always cold and the discomfort often shortens my time in the field photographing. these gloves worked great and kept my hands warm while allowing me to operate the camera and gear perfectly.

[Unisex L] I am looking forward to fully put these to the test in Yellowstone in a few weeks. They are noticeably better and more versatile than the 4 pairs of other gloves I have. They are a bit of a snug fit. I's recommend ordering one size larger than what the sheet tells you.

[Unisex L] Not going into deep snow with these but they're good on chilly autumn days.
