Use the 1.5 x 2" aluminum Hollow Smart Starter from CineMilled when building a custom car mount or another camera rig. Compatible with other Cinemilled rig components, this hollow, lighter-weight Smart Starter features a 5/8" receiver on top, multiple threads on the bottom, and imperial and metric threads on different flat sides, respectively.

A: You will be good with these two parts. If you were to add equipment to the back of the camera, say a battery, you would also need the CineMilled Pan Arm Extension for DJI Ronin Gen. 2 (Short) B&H # CICM502 or possibly the Long version. CineMilled Pan Arm Extension for DJI Ronin Gen. 2 (Long) B&H # CICM503 But if you are using just the FS700 and nothing on the back, the two extensions will be just fine.

[Black] I recently recorded some video narration, using a Schoeps MK 41 only a few inches away from my mouth. I tried several different wind and pop screens, including the regular B 5 and the W 20. The B 5 D gave the best protection against noise on 5

[Black] This counterbalance weight is stackable, meaning you can screw another one to the bottom if you need more weight. I’ve had several products from cinemilled and they have all been great thought out products. 5

[Black] Absolutely fantastic, and absolutely necessary for your Schoeps microphone capsules. The modular series of Schoeps mics are incredibly wind sensitive, and this little screen gives you the freedom to whip the mic around safely in an indoor environment. However, this will NOT cut it when outdoors, you need to get a separate zepplin for that (although you really should just use another microphone). 5

[Black] You'll need to pair this with the Cinemilled dovetail plate. I definitely recommend grabbing a couple of these if your camera is back heavy or if you intend to use a shorter (physically shorter, not focal length) lens. These weights simply screw into the dovetail plate and give you some added counterweight where you need it. Much nicer than that previous method of gaffe taping quarters to the camera, right??? 5
