The MADRIX 5 preprogrammer from Astera does not provide outputs for your MADRIX 5 software, but it removes major limitations of the demo mode. The ASIO-compatible MADRIX 5 employs 2D and 3D pixel mapping and controls LED lighting for generative visuals and effects. The software works on computers using Windows 10 and 11, 64-bit operating systems only, and it requires a valid separately available MADRIX KEY and a one-time online activation.

Q: 1. Does this remote also works with the new SZ200BI?

A: This remote would not work for the SZ200BI. For that light you would need the following remote: B&H # GORCA6

Q: 2. What is the DC plug size on the side of the light? The instructions says it takes 9V~12V/2A but doesn't say what size the plug in has to be. Since we need to find a third party adapter, we need to know that info. It's usually a mm size. I don't want to buy an expensive dummy Bat adapter. It has DC in on the side.

I was looking at this as well as a Role and decided to go with this instead. I'm used to standard-sized keys and playing in standard positions. I can do everything the Role can do (IMO) without having to learn a new way to play. The only hiccup was in setup. I downloaded the files but I couldn't get it working in Logic using their software. I downloaded the full version of Falcon, thinking that that would help, but it didn't. Eventually, I found a tutorial on YouTube and got it working. I don't mind having the full version of Falcon either. Looking forward to making beautiful, expressive music. 5

I purchased my Mac Pro just so that I can start my own photobooth company. Just to find out that being a MAC user this isn't something that you would want to do with such an expensive device. I downloaded this software to test the device out but it wouldn't work. Thats when I noticed that you can only use this software with Windows. 5

I like this MIDI controller. It is unique and has capabilities not found with regular pitch wheel type actions. Great for synth sounds but also can be very expressive when playing modeled acoustic instruments. 5
