This bag's top flap is sculpted to help keep rain and snow out.

The front straps feature a quick release system that allows you to quickly open your bag. Simply pull the straps up and off of the brass clogballs.

Two front dump pockets are ideal for storing cables, film, spare batteries, and other small items. The top outside corner of both pockets has a press stud that expands the pockets when released.

An 11" iPad can fit comfortably in the space between the padded insert and the back of the bag.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. I have the Billingham L2. Considering switching to Hadley Small Pro. What I like about the L2 are the 4 metal ‘feet’ which keep it from toppling/flopping over & off of a dirty surface. However I miss having a handle when getting in/out of vehicles etc. Anyone compared them directly side by side?

A: I have a Hadley Small Pro and I wouldn't worry about them flopping over. The padded insert helps the bag keep it's shape and whenever placed on a flat surface it always stays where it's put. The handle is a very definite improvement over any bag without a top handle. I think the Hadley Small Pro is probably the best bag you can get for a small mirrorless outfit. Mine has two X-E3's with small primes and there is still plenty of room for at least one other small prime. The front pockets just swallow up any accessories that you may need. A brilliant bag.

Q: 2. is it Black FibreNyte or Black Canvas?

A: With Billingham, if it says canvas, it is canvas. If it says FibreNyte, it is FibreNyte.

Q: 3. Would this be able to hold an iPad 10.5 inch with Smart Keyboard?

A: The 10.5” iPad will not fit in this bag, but will in a larger edition of the design, such as the Hadley One perhaps. Check the specs of various bags...Hadley Pro, Hadley One, etc.

Q: 4. Will it fit Canon 5DIV + 35mm f/1.4L II with hood?

A: The camera and lens could fit, but not with the hood attached.

Q: 5. Will this fit the Fuji GFX100 with 45mm lens?

A: Once you remove the dividers, you will be able to put the camera and the lens inside.

Q: 6. Will you guys carry the new navy/chocolate combo at some point?

A: At this time, there are no plans to carry this bag in the new Navy/Chocolate combo. However, we will announce new items via the B&H E-Mail Newsletter.

Q: 7. Will this bag hold a Lumix G9II with a non-telephoto lens attached?

A: Yes, the Billingham Hadley Small Pro Shoulder Bag (Black Canvas & Tan Leather) will fit the Panasonic Lumix G9 II Mirrorless Camera with a lens attched. The lens can be upto 6'' long.

Q: 8. What shoulder pad do I buy for this bag ??? It does not give the width of the strap.

A: The width of the strap is 1.5". The SP15 or SP40 pads will work.

Q: 9. Will this bag fit a Leica X Vario?

A: Yes this would fit the Leica X Vario with room to spare.

Q: 10. will this fit my Fuji x100f and Fuji xt-20 with f2/50mm wr lens and an extra Fuji lens f2/35mm wr?

A: No, this bag isn't quite big enough for all of your gear.

[Yes] I love these Bellingham bags. great quality and craftsmanship and protect well from the elements. This bag is particularly good for my Leica M and a lens or two. also a few accessories like battery/SD Cards, and lens cloth. that it's small is the key. if you are carrying anything else, you'd need a bigger bag.

[Yes] Great bag. Will last for years. Only downside is lack of a handle.

[Universal] Look at https://youtu.be/9bIKSaYfWFU for what the bag will hold. I actually got more in there than I expected. For reference, the M5 has the 18-150mm attached w/hood and strap. The other lenses are the M 11-22mm w/hood and the M 55-200mm w/hood. Also included: EX-270-II flash with soft box, filter kit, cleaning kit, white balance kit, small tabletop tripod, spare lens caps, charger (forgot to show two spare M5 batteries), body cap, spare rear lens cap, AA batteries. There's still a bit of room in the main compartment above the vertically placed 55-200 and in one of the front pockets. Reversing all three hoods would yield more space for small items. Construction is excellent. I'm very pleased with the bag and content outcome!

[Yes] The bag is just the right size for the SLR camera I just bought, with eanogh room for few more things like an extra lens, cards, batarie, ect,.Love the looks and comfertable size, even though before it arived I thought it would be somewhat bigger. The price is somewhat on the high end, but the bag seem to be very well made and I hope to use it for a verylong time in all sort of weather conditions. It seems like it can do the job.

[Yes] Excellent camera bag for one camera and a lens. My only criticism is the lack of a pocket outside the bag--but this is a minor one. The ease of which the photographer can open the bag and quickly retrieve his camera makes up for this issue. This will be the bag I must often use when I'm using one camera.

[Universal] I adore this bag for my Micro 4/3. I have a lot of camera bags, and this is always the first one I reach for. It can hold two Olympus OMD bodies, one with a 12-40mm f/2.8 attached and the other with a Panasonic 35-100 f/2.8 attached. And I still have plenty of room for accessories. If I am using smaller lenses, I can also fit several spare primes. My rule is that if my gear fits into the Hadley Small, then I am good to walk around all day in any kind of weather. My shoulder will still feel good at the end of the day, and I don't have to take breaks because I am tired of carrying gear around. If my gear doesn't fit into the Hadley Small, I am carrying too much. I also have a Hadley Pro, which is a great bag and which I use when I need to carry a lot of gear: two bodies and a big lens (like the Panasonic 100-300), big flashes or my 13 MacBook Air. With a fully loaded Hadley Pro, though, I will feel the weight by the end of the day. It's okay for a few hours, but not all day. There is nothing else that matches the comfort and flexibility of the Hadley Small --- and I have a lot of camera bags. And the Hadley Small is a good looking bag, too. I like the Hadley Small so much that I have two of them, one in Sage/Tan and one in Black/Tan. I have had the Sage bag for several years, and it still looks brand new --- and I don't baby it at all. I haven't had the black bag as long, and I am a little concerned that it might show lint more than the sage bag. It's really too soon to tell. The Hadley Small is an expensive bag, but it is worth every penny. Just get it.

[Yes] In addition to the bag, I purchased the Billingham leather shoulder pad and Billingham Avea 3 pouch. I keep my keys in the pouch with a pen and my Sony RX100M7 in the bag separated by the divider. It works beautifully. I'm more organized than I've ever been. I love having my camera with me at all times and still have room for other important things that I normally carry. With the pouch attached, it still looks neat and not too big. A friend thought it looked great and I feel great with it. I plan on getting the same set up in black and tan for winter.

[Yes] I'm using the bag for my new Fujifilm x-t2. It fits well with the 18-55 mm lens attached. There is room for 1 or 2 more lenses which I will add later. Very good quality. Glad there is no velcro. I kinda miss having a handle on the top of the bag, but overall I really like the bag.

[Navy Blue] This is my 5th Billingham bag, purchased for my new Fujifilm X Pro3 and 16-80mm zoom lens. As with all Billingham bags, the design is classically beautiful and construction top notch. I removed the padded dividers and placed 4 backup batteries in a padded case on the bottom and the owner's manual along the back, which left just enough room for the camera and attached lens. In the front pouch are a slim battery charger, SD card holder, lens tissues and brush, and a blower. My only wish is that the front pouch closed with a more secure zipper, as on my other bags, than a single snap. Also a pad for the strap (I borrowed the one from my Leica bag). This will be my new travel bag. It's the right size and provides excellent protection for its contents.
