[16 GB] I had purchased my Dell XPS 8950 with 32 GB of memory and Win 11, and I wanted to expand it to 64 GB of memory. I had purchased Crucial memory before for other computers, so I checked on the price, and the Crucial memory was a fraction of the cost of 32 GB at Dell! The memory arrived when originally scheduled, and when installed properly physically, the computer would not boot. I went to Crucial's website, and looked at the instructions to install memory. The instructions stated that it is necessary to do an electrical dump prior to installation (and how to accomplish that), and give it some time to install. I followed these instructions, and I now have 64 GB of working memory. 5
