PROSTAFF P7 10x42 binoculars deliver 10x magnification, while maintaining a bright view thanks to the larger objective lenses.

P7 binoculars incorporate superior Nikon optics and lens coatings for a high-quality viewing experience.

Multilayer lens coatings cut glare and reflection for sharper, clearer views.

Phase-correction coating is applied to the roof prisms for increased definition and clarity.

Nikon's dielectric high-reflective multilayer prism coating maximizes light transmission across the visible range.

Although they're not intended for underwater use, the PROSTAFF P7 binoculars can safely be used around splashing water or in inclement weather.

Often reserved for the highest-end binoculars, the diopter ring locks into place so you can set it and forget it.

The glass used in PROSTAFF P7 binoculars is lead-free and arsenic-free. Better for you. Better for the environment.

An oil- and water-repellent coating is applied to both the objective and eyepiece lenses. Simply wipe away moisture, fingerprints, and smudges.

The PROSTAFF P7 binoculars are filled with bone-dry nitrogen gas, so even going from a warm car to the cold winter air won't fog the lenses.

Retract them for use with eyeglasses. Extend them to your ideal position for comfortable naked-eye viewing.

15.7mm of eye relief ensures everyone can find a clear, comfortable viewing position, with or without eyeglasses.

The green rubber-armored body provides non-slip grip and protection from the occasional drop or bump.

The lightweight body of the PROSTAFF P7 binoculars features strong fiberglass-reinforced polycarbonate resin.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. These binos are indicated to work with a tripod adapter/mount, but you don't seem to sell the adapter?

A: Nikon Monarch Binocular Tripod Adaptor BH #NIMATA • MFR #8177 would be the appropriate adapter for this model.

Q: 2. Does the harness set include any hardware, like split ring, etc. to connect the harness to the binocular?

A: The Nikon ProStaff Suspender Harness Binocular Strap does not include split rings as they are not needed for most binoculars.

A: The closest focus distance for the Nikon PROSTAFF P7 10x42 Binoculars is (3) meters

Q: 4. Will this harness work with my ProStaff 3S?

A: Yes this will be compatible with your Nikon ProStaff's.

Q: 5. What is the difference between 3S and 7S?

A: I copied this off the Q & A from the 3s:The 3s has Silver-Coated Roof Prisms while the 7s has Phase-Corrected Compact Roof Prisms. The 7s has Highly Reflective Mirror Prism Coatings while the 3s does not. And the 3s has Multi-Coated Optics while the 7s has Fully Multi-Coated Optics Multi-coated means at least one of the major optical elements in a fully-coated binocular has multiple coatings of anti-reflective compounds on at least one surface. Fully multicoated means all glass surfaces have multiple coatings and it is the best kind, resulting in light transmission of 90-95% for bright, sharp and contrast images. [Roof] I spent an afternoon at B&H testing out many, many binoculars to figure out best value standouts. The P7 series really stood out as amazing binoculars for the price. In fact, I found them to be better than some that were double the price or more. Part of what makes the P7 so great is the massive field of view that is very unusual at this price point. This results in a very immersive viewing experience. You can’t go wrong with these. 10/10

[10x] I love the weight of these. They are clear and crisp. Just what I wanted for birding.

[42 mm] I compared these with other binoculars around the same price range, Vortex and Nikon Monarchs. These fit the bill lighter than the Monarch and better than the Votex. Of course this is subjective and depends on your eye sight. Pulled the trigger on these for my parents Alaskan cruise.

Get these if you want something affordable. If you have the money go with Swarovski.

Thanks,

[Roof] Replaced an older pair binoculars. Absolutely spectacular!! Crystal clear and sharp in a broad range of light conditions! Great bang for the buck relative to the market. Perhaps better than my friends Zeiss for a fraction of the price!!

[4.2 mm] Great binoculars for birding or sporting events. I think these strike a good balance between economy and quality. I like to carry then when I also have my camera as they are lighter than my Nikon 10-20 X 50's. I also appreciate that they are waterproof so I don't have to debate taking them when there is a threat of rain.

[Roof] I use these binoculars on a daily basis. They stay in my center console where I can pick them up at a moment's notice. The binoculars are easy to set up and gain focus. They are light and the rubberized texture provides a sure grip. I'm a satisfied customer.
