Cyanotype printing is a simple approach to making prints by laying a negative over treated paper and exposing it to the sun. It can also be used for photograms, an image made without a camera by placing objects directly onto the surface of a light-sensitive material and then exposing it to light. Cyanotypes can be toned to different colors after being bleached. Toners can be tea, coffee, wine, or any other acid-rich liquid.

This kit consists of a developing tray, brush, 30 sheets of cyanotype paper, and a 200mL kit.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. This looks so perfect! I miss processing my own film and doing my own printing. It's been about 40 years (YIKES) since I've been in a darkroom but I've been yearning to get back to this. I'm going to hint to my kids that this would make an excellent gift.... Question: Is there a similar kit for color C-41 home development?

A: We have chemical kits for color C-41 processing but not with the hardware. This is some links for the chemical kits, https://bhpho.to/3CtVznp https://bhpho.to/3cqzueT https://bhpho.to/30A1r1g

Q: 2. What are the dimensions (footprint) of the CPP-3?

A: Dimensions of the Jobo CPP-3 Film and Print Processor Kit with Lift BH #JOCPPPRCSR are H 33.5 cm x W 96 cm x D 37 cm (H 13 in x W 38 in x D 15 in).

Q: 3. When using Museo Max, what printer profile or setting do I use with my Epson printer ?

A: It depends on the Epson printer, but I'd recommend using the Hot Press Natural Profile setting.

Q: 4. Does the film in this particular listing have its ramjet removed?

A: When it comes to the Flic Film Vision3 500T Cine Film (35mm Roll Film, 36 Exposures), it will have a ramjet layer on the film that will need to be removed with ECN-2 prebath chemical.

Q: 5. Do they come in colors too? Or just in white?

A: This is the only color this comes in

Q: 6. Are processors such as the Ilford 2150 or Colenta still available? I was thinking about opening a small processing lab but I'd like something more robust than a Jobo.

A: At this time, this is the most elaborate film developing machine B&H sells.

Q: 7. Does this use Blix or separate bleach and fixer?

A: The Rollei C-41 Color Film Developing Kit (Large) contains Bleach Fix Part A (1L) and Bleach Fix Part B (1L).

Q: 8. With this kit does one need to also purchase/use an enlarger?

A: Yes, an enlarger is separate, click the link below to view your options; https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/search?q=enlarger&sort=PRICE_LOW_TO_HIGH&filters=fct_category%3Aenlargers_546

Q: 9. has anyone mixed small amounts at a time like 500ml or 1000ml? to keep the concentrates longer and only make working solutions for what you need when you need.

A: You should have no issue making smaller amounts. This is sized for large amounts of film developing but can do small as well.

Q: 10. Is this chemistry for movie films like 250D or 500T?

A: Yes, the Flic Film ECN-2 8-Roll Home Processing Kit (0.5L) is the correct development kit for all Kodak Vision 3 cinema films.

[2.13 lb] In August, I went on a trip the the Pacific Northwest, and wanted to capture it on Slide and B&W. I shot 5 rolls of Chrome 100 using a Nikon F with a 50mm F/1.4 and using a Pentax Spotmeter V!

Very happy with how they turned out! I also brought two rolls of Kodak's E100 to compare, and since Chrome 100 is just bulk loaded E100D wasn't much of a difference between E100 and Chrome 100!

I really enjoyed this roll and for the price (especially since E100 is 21.99 on B&H) you can't get much better than this!

[2.13 lb] Nice way to add some variety and mix up what you shoot. For the price its worth buying a few rolls and seeing what you get. Lots of contrast and nice fine grain.

[2.13 lb] So far I have used this product only 2 times, but I have to say that it is working flawlessly so far. You have to give a little bit of time to reach and maintain the target temperature but it does not take too long, it is actually appropriate. It is not very deep, so for your bottles to be fully or almost fully submerged into the temperature controlled water bath, you will have to use a 500 ml (4 are included with the purchase of this product) or 600 ml (like the ones from Jobo) bottles. I did not try yet to use 1 L bottles to see how evenly the whole liquid inside the bottle is preserved at the target temperature, since only alf of the bottle will be fully submerged. So, I might try that and comeback to update this review if possible.

[2.13 lb] Step 1. Buy this stock
Step 2. Put it in your camera
Step 3. Slap on an 812 filter

Now I just need to get one of those old slide projectors

[2.13 lb] As others have noted, this is Ektachrome 5294 movie film, spooled in to cassettes, for 35mm still cameras. It has great color, and saturation, as well pleasing skin tones. Like its sold by Kodak Alaris counterpart, it is a great all around film. I use it for all occasions, both in the studio, and outdoors. Since it is a movie film, it doesn't have frame numbers along the edges; not a big deal, just something to note.

[2.13 lb] This is so much better then the canister squeeze contraption. I dont like these reload canisters, but this quick pic is the best way to open flic film canisters. I have LOTS of flic film and now feel comfortable shooting it because i can open the canisters. When you use the pic twist it and listen for the snap. Thats important for both tabs on the canister.

[2.13 lb] I am very satisfied with the product. It is very practical in use. The water heats up quickly and the temperature is regulated very precisely. Important for users in Germany (220 V AC): An adapter power supply (from 220 V to 110 V AC) is required, which is at least 600 watts continuous current. This is the power of the heating rod.
