Unlock your MagicQ PC system from "demo mode" with this Rackmount MagicHD Dongle from ChamSys. When connected to a MagicQ Wing or MagicQ USB Interface (excluding the MagicDMX), MagicQ PC systems are released from "demo mode," fulfilling this role in a compact form factor, which makes the device ideal for installations.

The dongle can unlock all eight layers of MagicHD standalone operation, which is necessary when MagicHD operates independently from a ChamSys console. The dongle also permits the utilization of third-party and virtual MIDI interfaces for inputting MIDI notes into MagicQ. This functionality is not unlocked by other ChamSys PC hardware, such as the PC Wing, Mini Wing, or Dual DMX. It's important to note that triggering Playbacks via USB MIDI is limited to the first 10 playbacks of MagicQ.

A: The DaVinci Resolve Studio Activation Keys don't work on Fusion, but Fusion dongles work on all DaVinci Resolve Studio 16 platforms.

A: Recently BMD announced that Fusion dongles will run DaVinci Resolve Studio 15.2 and up. I bought my copy after that and it is true, I can run DaVinci Resolve Studio with the same dongle (rendering my DaVinci Resolve dongle obsolete).

[Blue] Love what it does, when once your done with getting the system properly configured. Documentation is limited, but plenty of videos exists on SoundSwitch site and Utube. Please watch all before starting. Be patient with support from New Zealand via email. Their support staff is top notch. If they have to look at your system over the internet they will to correct setup problems. May require more than one view. Watching support configure setup problem I say the following. [Blue] As a 3D motion designer, I wanted a higher quality compositing package than After Effects, but cannot justify the price of Nuke. I found Fusion to be a great alternative. It is fast, easy to use and do mathematically accurate compositing. It has very powerful tools, and you can add more tools through the reactor (when I tried Exponential Glow, I immediately fell in love with it). I did find one insignificant bug with color picker while using Wacom pen, which could also be caused by my OS or Wacom drivers, but it doesn't really bother me. It's a Nuke grade software with a very beautiful interface and affordable price. I highly recommend giving it a try! 5

[Blue] Fusion Studio is a wonderful product, and I absolutely love it. I'm still getting used to Fusion 16, so I'll not talk about that right now. The only real complaint I have about this is the dongle. It is annoying as heck that I have to plug the dongle into the computer every time I want to start the program. And... if I unplug it while using the program, I'm prompted to put it back in. I'd rather just register the product like Resolve, then I never have to think about it again. Oh well... 5

[Blue] Fusion is a very capable node-based compositor that I use daily in my animation work. Whether layering render passes, applying color correction, or creating special effects - its all in there, and more. I used the free version of this software for years, but I wanted to step up to the more full-featured Fusion for its advanced capabilities. $299 is still a great price for what you get. Highly recommended. 5
