[Chrome / Black] Previous to the Tilta, any rear cheese plate was $$$. It's a perfect fit. I mount a tilta V-Mount plate, or use a monitor mount when I want my c500 on a gimbal and a long lens. Stays on my camera.

[Chrome / Black] Some competitors would charge 3-4x more for this simple but useful plate. Adds versatility to my camera builds - but it's low profile so it doesn't get in the way when I don't need it. Great value - thanks Tilta!

[Chrome / Black] Despite the other reviews, I have found this to be an excellent addition to the C300iii. I can see the full screen no problem at all. As far as weight, it's not something I would consider heavy at all. It weighs about as much as it looks in the photos, no surprises.


The attachment is rock solid, this thing will not be falling off your monitor.


Like all Zacuto products, it's a little bit overbuilt, but in the context of production world, that just means it's not going to break on you out in the field.


I had rented the Canon EVF-70, and believe it or not I like this setup better. It's more flexible being able to use either the monitor or the eyepiece depending on your shooting scenario.


Overall, I like it.

[Chrome / Black] Waited for this for a long time, the only option for two years was $$$. This cheese plate is super useful, for a V-mount plate, for a Rode Go rx, for mounting a monitor when the cam is on a gimbal. Fit's perfectly on the c500 MkII and the three arri mounts are great.

They told me that they have tested a lot and already made modifications to improve the product. Also it has life time warranty, so I gave it a go. I have to say I am very satisfied with
this product. The cage works perfectly with my C500 MK II and my shooting went super smooth with the whole kit. Great customer service. Will recommend to my peers.

[Chrome / Black] I have had Shape products for years now. Very nicely designed top plate for the C300 Mark iii, I use it on every shoot and I'm planning to equip my other mark iiis with it very soon. It has everything I need on it, threaded holes of various sizes, anti-rotating for ARRI products, and a nice rod holder at the front. Very sturdy too. Great product!

[Chrome / Black] I have two C500 mark ii cameras which I equipped with Shape's cages. I always leave my cameras in the cages, they fit like a glove. I
especially like the top handle part. Very solid product on documentary shoots, it's easy to put together and when I had to extend my top handle to a longer one, they supplied me with the right parts for me to do so. I like being able to call a company and see they take the time to help you customize your gear. I
was obviously talking to people who work in the industry, they understand your needs and they talk the same language.

[Chrome / Black] I was looking for a solid baseplate for my C500 mark ii and SHAPE delivered again! I can attach my tripod plate underneath. I recently had to work with the C300 Mark iii and I can use the same plate.
