Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Does Mackie have a multitrack application for Mac/PC?

A: Yes the Mackie Onyx24 will do that via USB.

Q: 2. What are the pros and cons of using a shielded cat5e/6 for the audio engine connection?

A: Hi Harold! Thank you for your question. Shielded cables are more effective for blocking interference in comparison to unshielded, so installing high-quality shielded cables will help to ensure high speed performance. However, I would recommend contacting Technical Support for your region - they will be more than happy to look further into this query for you. They will be able to advise you on the best option for your particular situation.

Q: 3. Are all 8 input channels stereo?

A: No

Q: 4. Are the 8 input channels Stereo?

A: No, they are mono microphone inputs.

Q: 5. Can I use it for Live Church Service?I want to take the Line Out of my Church Amp and get 4 Outputs to put 4 Powered Speakers around the Hall.

A: yes you can do that. Remember, all cables are 1/4 inch.

Q: 6. What cables do I need and where do I hook My Behringer 800 headphone amp to ?

A: You will need 1/4 cables. The back of the headphone amp is 1/4 TRS cable. This will be put in line to your interface or audio mixer. Most often will be 1/4 TRS on the interface or mixer. Be sure that you won't need 1/4 from headphone amp to XLR on interface or mixer.Think about how far the amp will be from said gear to order, just enough length in your cables.I bought 6 cables since my amp sits on top of interface.Hope this helpsDanny

Q: 7. How is volume to the headphone out controlled? (is it a static, but quasi-controlled via gain or adjusted by output knob?

A: The headphone volume control on the Behringer U-PHORIA UM2 is controlled by the knob labeled 'Output'. It is the knob that is farthest to the right, on top of the interface.

Q: 8. can this unit work on a tascam 2488 neo and if so what is the best way to connect it to the unit for the best results on all the channels?

A: The Behringer HA8000 can be connected to the Tascam 2488 NEO. The MONITOR OUTPUT would be the proper way to connect the unit.

Q: 9. Does this supply phantom to mics in 1 and 2?

A: Yes the Gemini Compact 8-Channel Bluetooth Audio Mixer with USB sends phantom power to both mic inputs.

Q: 10. can i connect this directly to headphone out of my mixer? or there's a better way to connection? thanks

A: Yes you connect it but you have to use the right cable .

[12 x 7 x 3"] This mixer was recommended to me by a professional radio engineer for use in my home-based audio studio. It offers flexibility, takes up little space and is easy to use. I am very happy with it.

[1x USB-B] I use this soundboard for my studio and works perfect. The effects are very cool (I like the chipmunk the most). Perfect for a home studio and very portable, fits right into a laptop bag. I wish there was an on/off switch, but there isn't. I just have to turn it off at the powerstrip.

[2x Single LED] I play both guitar and keyboards. I got this mixer so that I could plug in a couple of keyboards, the combination effects pedal, and a microphone all at the same time and feed them into a couple of Behringer powered speakers. The keyboards and the effects pedal have stereo outputs which works out great with the 4-sets of stereo inputs on the mixer. So far I have been very happy with this mixer. I have been enjoying the convenience and the additional effects. one way it could be improved would be to add XLR mains.

[12 x 7 x 3"] I hesitated at giving a 5-star rating because of the absence of a power button, but decided all the other great things about this mixer overshadowed that. This little mixer lacks nothing that I need in a mixer and has a footprint comparable to my 10 tablet. It has 12 inputs 4 of which are XLR inputs with 3 band EQs. Phantom power is there for my condenser mics as well as 99 great sounding effects such as reverbs, echoes, and much, much more. If you are a musician/singer working coffee houses and such this mixer is perfect. Pick up a powered speaker to use with it and you are in business. The mixer is also very quiet for recording and the Tape In/Out is right there for ya.

[5 VDC at 500mA] I use this mixer to mix the output of my stage piano, computer output, digital camera output, and microphone while I practise at home on my trombone. I can play live with backup music and play it back to see where I need to improve. This mixer has all the flexibility I need to achieve my goals, plus the sound quality is excellent! I also love having digital effects available if I want to take my practise and mix them for a mp3 file to put on the internet. Did I mention how affordable this mixer was? Great!

[1] I use the mixer for mixing microphones, the output of a TASCAM DP-02, and a Roland TD4S electronic drum kit. I do this for listening to tracks in practice and prep for recording. Also use it for mixing various inputs into a Roland KC-550 amplifier for live practice and gigs. This small mixer has virtually no noise. (unless you crank it up all the way, which you should never need to do) The FX quality is also very good. No digital artifacts or noise that I can tell. Also it has quite a good range of useful FX effects from subtle to extreme, all controlled with a send level and individual channel return levels. The only concern I would have is that since there is no power switch you have to either unplug the power supply (or use power strip with a power switch) or pull out the power connector from the mixer rear to turn it off. The power plug in the rear is like an s-video connector so it is fragile. Just be careful and it should be no problem. The power led is blue and is very intense. If the mixer is located in a dimly lit area the blue LED makes it difficult to see the knobs or make adjustments

[12 x 7 x 3"] I bough this cause I need a small board that can hookup with 4 mics and with build in effects. This one is prefect fit and inexpansive. The sound is clean and it is enriched by the effects. You can't get anything better with this price.
