The SC Top Interface Plate for DSLM Cameras from OCTAMAS gear is a low-profile top plate designed for select digital single-lens mirrorless cameras. It has a dovetail mount that allows ARRI-standard dove plates to easily be adjusted for adequate use of top handles or other accessories. The plate features 3/8"-16 ARRI-type anti-twist threads and multiple 1/4"-20 and M4 mounting threads. A thumbscrew is included in the package.

A: Yes, The SmallRig Top Plate for Sony FX3 XLR Unit would also be able to attach to the extender kit rail.

Q: 8. Is it possible to install this top plate atop a SmallRig 2203 cage for the BMPCC 6K in order to give my camera rig greater mounting options?

A: This is designed to go on top of a C200 directly. You may be able to put it on top of other SmallRig cages, but how well it will fit or line up is not something know the results of. It would not be recommended.

[Black] It's great to have more mounting points and still retain the pogo connections passed through! Somebody had wrongly told me that I would be able to use my Red Start/Stop handle facing either direction, but not so. That's only true with the WC Easy Top. 5

[Black] This plate lets you put two screws on MAP1 and MAP2, unlike the original Movi Plate. The two screws in the product picture are misleading, but it is just screw holder and not attached to the actual plate. The plate itself is straight shape just like the original Movi top plate. 5

[Black] This adds more secure points of contact on the Red for adding top AND side accessories while not hindering the use of the existing ports. I had the old version on my old Epic and this is my first purchase for our new Epic-W. It does add a little bit more weight to the camera but that's a small price to pay for never having to worry about stripping screws from constantly building and tearing down the accessories. 5

[Black] This handle feels great in the hand with the wood insert and looks slick. I shoot a lot of ski footage and the wood grip is awesome - even with gloves, holding onto an aluminum rail all day gets really cold. The double push button on the EVF mount is also critical. Quick to shift position and holds well enough to support the weight of the rig. After reading some of the comments, I decided to go with the Shape batteries - the top plate doesn’t get in the way as it does with bigger batteries 5
