The OCTAMAS Power Box 12 XLR Cable Gold Mountfrom OCTAMAS Power Box 12 XLR Cable Gold Mountis a power distribution box for a Gold mount battery and features a 4-pin XLR female camera cable output to provide power to a camera or light with a 4-pin XLR input. It also features a 12V 4-pin XLR input for external power.

Other ports include three D-Tap outputs, two 2-pin 12V LEMO-type outputs, two 24V 3-pin 24V outputs that also support run/stop, and one 5V USB-A 3.1 input port to power a variety of accessories. The Power Box mounts onto the separately available OCTAMAS gear SWISS cage or 15mm LWS rod block.

[Aluminum] I use this xlr cable for the on-camera shotgun mic for a Sony EX3. It works wonderful and is the perfect length. Originally I tried a 3 foot cable, but it was too long and wound around getting in the way. This one is great, and the quality and craftsmanship of the cable is great too. 5

[Gold Mount] I recently had my 30+ year old Harman Kardon equipment all refurbished after it sitting for several years. It sounded pretty good once it was all set up again. I remembered it sounding better though. I wondered if it was just wishful thinking or if something else was needed. Then I realized all of my cables were also 30+ years old too. They were also just the stock ones that came with the equipment. I wanted cables that are good, but affordable. Mogami's meet that criteria and are used by audio engineers and professional musicians. After installing them my system sounds even better than the way I remembered it. I bought the 12' cables because I have two Harman Kardon Citation 22 amplifiers bridged together and connected to a Harman Kardon Citation 25 preamplifier. 5

[Yes] I use these for a 702 recorder kit - where im looking to line input to the recorder from random sources. I got the mogamis cuz of the build quality. So far so good. I had a slight price reduction built in because of a return i made to B&H. That cushioned what i accept is, for many folks, a hefty price. Worth it? Yeah i guess. Ive never had a cable made by them that has failed, or produced noise. The connectors are all top quality on both sides. Nice shielding. If you dont build your own stuff and want top shelf runs, its Mogami. 5

[Gold Mount] We use these for patching and for vocal studio mics, anywhere where we don't want to introduce noise into a mix in the studio. We also use them in patching for our live recording rig. Where we don't use them is the Live stage. Even with the warranty and their great durability, they are too expensive to be torn up. 5
