Q: 1. will this strap work on a panasonic lumix dmc-gx8?

A: Yes, it is certainly compatible with the GX8.

Q: 2. Hello, What is the TOTAL length of the HiiGuy STRAP-HG? As for the photo in your ad it looks to be approx. 60 to 64 inches. Thank you, Tom

A: It is our opinion you cannot disassemble this strap. As is, the farthest it stretches is 32".

Q: 3. What size bolt is that?

A: I'm not sure what you call the bolt but the center rod adapter which accepts a screw to attach the beauty dish disc to the rapid Box is approx. 1 1/16 long including the threads, approx. 15/32 dim., approx. 11/16 non thread portion. The screw is approx. 3/16 dim. The center rod adapter and screw seem to be for Westcott devices only.

Q: 4. Can these be used for texting?

A: Not with the fingers covered.

Q: 5. Which is it? Is a safety tether included as stated in the "Key features" paragraph or is it optional as stated in fifth picture?

A: It is included.

Q: 6. Does this deflector plate (2040-DP) is for the Rapid Box Duo 32 or is the (2030-DP)?

A: Given the size of the octal box you are purchasing, I would buy the 2040-DP. I own the Rapid Octa for my profoto light and it's 36 . I also own the rapid box 26 Octa with the 2030-DP plate for my Canon 600 speedlites. That plate would be too small for the Duo 32 . Get the 2040-DP.. Good Luck.

Q: 7. Does hiiguy mean you got to be tall to use?

A: The strap length is adjustable so fits many different sizes.

Q: 8. How do I wash these gloves? I've used mine for a year and a half in all types of bad weather so they probably need a bath.

A: Carefully. Suggest soaking in warm (NOT hot) water with a mild detergent. Then, after a couple hours transfer to cold water to rinse soap. Line dry. Washing machine or dryer not recommended. Note, this is what I would or will do; it's not a manufacturer's recommendation.

Q: 9. will it work with a Canon EOS r6?

A: Yes, unit will attach by its metal 1/4-20" mounting screw opening located on the bottom of camera body

Q: 10. Can they be used for snow conditions? Waterproof? Warm enough?

A: Warm enough in cool conditions or for short periods (15 - 20 min or so) in snow (below freezing). Finger tips will get cold when tips are opened. Not totally waterproof (immersion), but will repel casual water. I wouldn't use to make snowmen.

[Unisex XL/XXL] The gloves are very nice for inclimate weather here in South Central Wisconsin winter. Warm, and very easy to operate the camera gear

[Black] I doubt these will be enough for deep winter, but so far, as of November 19th with temps just above zero and wind chill, these do well. Comfortable, tight enough to allow dexterity, and yes, warm enough for now. I'd get a second, more heavy-duty pair for extreme cold.

[Black] A year ago, I was shooting outside. using tablet, and trying to hold a camera is always a difficult balancing act. Vallerret Urbex makes this much so much easier. Urbex gloves allows you to expose your fingers to adjust buttons while shooting, actively use your tablet when they are not. Vallerret makes high quality gloves that are both soft and warm and with maximum comfort.

[Black] Wore these on a photo hike when the weather was clear but cold, between 45 and 50 degrees. The gloves kept my hands warm, and the fingertips stayed fastened back by the magnets making operating my camera sooo easy. The tips return to their original position easily as well. Don't know how they will be in freezing weather, but the day I used them I was very warm and happy with the gloves.

[Black] It holds 6-7 cards plus 4-5 notes. Easy to access any card you need while keeping the overall thickness very low. Like the design.

[Black] I have warm hands. Nevertheless, I still prefer to wear a glove when temps are below 30F (-1c) as handling cold metal and carbon camera gear for a long time irritates my mild joint pain in my hands. I have been wearing a pair of shooting gloves in warmer temps, switching over to a pair of ski mittens with a finger tip flap for colder. Of course, neither were great for the in between temps, or when there was wind or rain/snow. Plus neither pair had a conductive pad for device use.
Enter the Urbex! I used them all last week shooting at Chincoteague National Wildlife Refuge, in temps from 20F to 40F with winds and rain a few mornings and never once did I feel I needed more glove in the cold or get too hot as the temps crept up. The merino liners were soft and woolly but did not make my fingers feel like they were in sausage skins. The leather shell was flexible and grippy yet didn't feel flimsy. And the capacitive pads rocked. I was able navigate menus on my DSLR with ease.
My only complaint would be the fit. I usually wear a XX-Large in gloves, but this model doesn't come in that size. Other Vallerret gloves do. (Or maybe B and H just doesn't stock the XXL) The knuckles are a bit tight when I flex my fingers into a fist, but in general use it is not too restrictive. I still would prefer the XXL.
Great gloves are hard to find. Especially when you are looking for the 'middle' ground or the 'Goldilocks' point. For me, these are right on point.

[Black] Hello,
I just receive this product and it's a good product but I choose a too large size. Is it possible to change to the M size?
And if it's possible, can you tell me the deadline to receive the new one after I send you the product?

Thank you for your return.
