The DDM4000 features 5 independent channels. Channels 1 - 4 are crossfader-assignable stereo channels, with Phono/Line-level toggle switches that make them suitable for your vinyl and CD/mp3 players. All channels feature 3-band digital EQs with up to 12 dB of boost and infinite cut option (Kill), and can be monitored directly via headphones thanks to the PFL switch above the fader. A dedicated Mic channel is provided in mono, with 2 XLR Mic Inputs and features a special Talk feature that attenuates the volume of the stereo channels (ducking), ensuring your announcements will be heard loud and clear over the music. The Mic channel also has its own FX section, which can be applied with a single button.

The core functionality of the DDM4000 can be found in its Digital Ultracurve Crossfader, which is equipped with Reverse Tap and Hold buttons, plus automatic BPM-synchronized crossfading. Smooth and ultra-responsive, this First-Class Crossfader can be assigned to any of channels 1 - 4, and sports a trio of 3-band EQ Kill buttons on either side. The curve sensitivity is adjustable, and in the unlikely event you ever wear it out, the Crossfader itself is easy to replace.

DDM4000's BPM-synced sampler is a highly sought-after feature, which allows you to record a segment of incoming audio and loop it continuously without dropping the beat. Once your track is looping from the sampler, you can swap discs, queue up your new tracks, and mix them back in for totally seamless transitions.

The BPM-Counter technology has even found its way into the DDM4000's incredible dual FX section, which allows it to read and display the BPM of 2 different inputs and then apply BPM-synchronized effects, such as echo, to the beat of the music. Effects such as Bitcrusher, Reverb, Delay, Pitch Shift, and more are available and can be assigned independently to multiple channels.

The DDM4000 is the ideal digital mixer for the DJ who is on the way to the top, or the club owner who has multiple DJs performing on a recurring basis. All preferences, such as fader curve, FX settings, EQ, Kill frequencies, etc., can be stored in individual user accounts and recalled instantly. This feature alone can completely eliminate the changeover time between DJs.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Can I do loop back recording? Where I can record a vocal in real time over a karaoke track played from a web browser or media player.

A: Unfortunately you cannot it's a mixer not a recorder.

Q: 2. In which country is the Yamaha MG10XU made, the one in your store is made in China? Made in Malaysia ?

A: The Yamaha MG10XU 10-Input Mixer with Built-In FX and 2-In/2-Out USB Interface is made in Malaysia.

Q: 3. Hi can i connect 4 speakers and a subwoofer I'm going to buy it for my son he has a pair alto TS-415 that he bought here a pair qsc

A: Yes, it is possible to connect 4 speakers and a subwoofer to the Yamaha MG10XU 10-Input Mixer. The Alto Professional TS415 Active Loudspeakers can connect directly to the mixer, and as long as the subwoofer and the QSC speakers are also active (powered) speakers, they can also connect directly or be linked together.

Q: 4. Does the interface works on mac.what should I do to use it

A: yes, just plug the usb cable on the mixer and your mac, and on sound preferences select input and output MG10XU

Q: 5. What is the country of origin for this product?

A: The Yamaha MG16XU Mixer is made in Malaysia.

Q: 6. What type of effects come with the amplifier

A: The Peavey PVi 8500 400W 8-Channel Mixer/Amplifier with FX and Bluetooth list of effects includes 3 different reverbs, Delay, Vocal Enhance, and Chrous.

Q: 7. When to use the 'pre' switch on AUX1 and AUX2 in Yamaha MG20XU mixer for singing and what would be the effect please?

A: Nobody answered this for this poor fellow? Those "pre" buttons are to set the sends to PREFADER....in other words you can turn down the gain or volume on the output to main, but the full signal will still continue to the AUX bus.

Q: 8. Can you use both the front and rear out puts at the same time?

A: Yes, you can use both sets of outputs from the Peavey PVi 8500 Mixer/Amplifier at the same time, as long as they are used for the correct application. The main and monitor outputs on the front panel are used for connection to external power amplifiers or powered speakers, so these outputs bypass the mixer's built-in power amp section. The main and monitor outputs on the back panel are amplified outputs that are used to connect passive speakers.

Q: 9. Can You Record While Playing live On To A Recorder?

A: Yes, you can connect the output from the Yamaha MG10XU Mixer to an audio recorder to record a live performance. You can also record directly to a Mac or Windows computer, or to an iPad using the mixer's built-in USB audio interface.

Q: 10. Can this be used for the new PreSonus StudioLive Series III 32?

A: Unfortunately it cannot. The correct case for the PreSonus StudioLive 32 Series III Digital Mixer is B&H# GAGTOUR32III. Which you may find on our website.

[24-Bit] I hesitated at giving a 5-star rating because of the absence of a power button, but decided all the other great things about this mixer overshadowed that. This little mixer lacks nothing that I need in a mixer and has a footprint comparable to my 10 tablet. It has 12 inputs 4 of which are XLR inputs with 3 band EQs. Phantom power is there for my condenser mics as well as 99 great sounding effects such as reverbs, echoes, and much, much more. If you are a musician/singer working coffee houses and such this mixer is perfect. Pick up a powered speaker to use with it and you are in business. The mixer is also very quiet for recording and the Tape In/Out is right there for ya.

[AC Input] I use the mixer for mixing microphones, the output of a TASCAM DP-02, and a Roland TD4S electronic drum kit. I do this for listening to tracks in practice and prep for recording. Also use it for mixing various inputs into a Roland KC-550 amplifier for live practice and gigs. This small mixer has virtually no noise. (unless you crank it up all the way, which you should never need to do) The FX quality is also very good. No digital artifacts or noise that I can tell. Also it has quite a good range of useful FX effects from subtle to extreme, all controlled with a send level and individual channel return levels. The only concern I would have is that since there is no power switch you have to either unplug the power supply (or use power strip with a power switch) or pull out the power connector from the mixer rear to turn it off. The power plug in the rear is like an s-video connector so it is fragile. Just be careful and it should be no problem. The power led is blue and is very intense. If the mixer is located in a dimly lit area the blue LED makes it difficult to see the knobs or make adjustments

[13.84 lb] I purchased this little mixer for a dinner piano gig I do. Not only do I sing, but I use some backing tracks I put together in my studio (bass & drums, mostly). I needed a small, lightweight mixer with built-in effects that I could plug my mic and i-Pod into. The Xenyx 1202FX fits the bill perfectly. It gives me plenty of channels (enough for another couple of musicians to plug into for an impromptu jam) and the built-in digital effects does a fine job giving space to my mic channel. As with any mixer this size, the power supply is a separate in-line lump, which some people may not be thrilled about. Overall, the Xenyx 1202FX is exactly what I needed in a compact and affordable package. Highly recommended!

[1x IEC Input] I use this soundboard for my studio and works perfect. The effects are very cool (I like the chipmunk the most). Perfect for a home studio and very portable, fits right into a laptop bag. I wish there was an on/off switch, but there isn't. I just have to turn it off at the powerstrip.

[1x IEC Input] I used this Behringer XENYX mixer for the first time at charity fundraiser. Connected a wired mic, wireless mic and a wireless head set mic to it. Sent the mix out to a JBL EON ONE...all worked great. The footprint is only about 12 square and it has everything I needed for controlling multiple inputs. Great price too!

[20 W] It's great for small gigs that still needs just a touch of reverb. Is it the best DSP ever? No. But, it helps fill in just a little to keep the sound full. Over all build quality is good and we've used this model for over 6 years with no problems.
