I’m glad we came across the Ecobee smart doorbell because the camera quality is unmatched. It was so simple to install because instructions were detailed and easy to follow. Packaging was also efficient, nothing unnecessary and it is eco-friendly, so big plus for the environment. The app is easy to navigate and the push notifications are so handy! Would recommend this doorbell to anyone.

The packaging was beautiful and sleek, the install was detailed and easy to follow and the product itself is next level. The camera quality is way better than I expected. I love that this doorbell detects motion and people separately so that I am not getting 1 thousand notifications on motion when it is just an animal or car passing by. I would HIGHLY recommend this smart doorbell to anyone who is in the market. The app is also super easy to use. This product has far exceeded all expectations I had. 10/10

[Digital: 8x] I absolutely love this little gadget and my dog loves it too. It's very useful to be able to roam the house. I plan to get this as a gift to my friends too. Connecting from my phone to the device is very easy and the image quality is great. It also works well at night.

[Yes] [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We absolutely love our new doorbell camera! I love that it connects to our actual doorbell so it’s like we’re kind of getting notified twice. It notifies me the moment. Someone is barely walking up my entryway. II also love the capability of being able to screenshot and download my history and I love that it gives you a two month trial. II definitely will be renewing after the trial period ends, because it is worth every penny. We definitely will be renewing once the trial. It’s up because it’s worth every penny.

[Hardwired] I still haven't used it permanently, but the setup was easy and all the features are working as expected, I'm really happy with the service, the price and the product :)

[Yes] [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am in love with this eco bee camera. It actually did take a while for me to install only because I was afraid of messing up the wires for our doorbell. But I was able to get assistance but the camera is great quality. When it arrived it was well packaged. The camera is water resistant which is great because my mother-in-law waters her plants by the camera.

[Hardwired] Setup was easy. It did not work with my very old mechanical chime as I expected so I use the chime function in Homekit to ring through my homepods. I like the snapshot feature and ability to talk and listen through the doorbell which does not require a subscription. Video and sound quality is very good. I already have cameras around my house that
record and store video so I do not need the subscription service.

[0.945 lb] Excellent video quality for both daylight and nighttime (using built-in infrared light). Person and package detection as well as talk feature also work great! Currently using the free 60-day trial standard plan but I think it will be worth it to get at least the standard plan for the video recording storage.

Time will tell about the longevity of the doorbell as the location in my front door leaves it exposed to direct sunlight from morning to early afternoon. My old front door camera shuts down to protect itself when it gets too hot.

Installation should be straightforward for most cases with only 1 chime. Mine required a bit of extra time to figure out the wiring of 2 chimes (downstairs and upstairs) with the transformer located in the attic. Ended up having to install the chime adapter in the attic together with the transformer. Check your setup and ecobee wiring diagram first to avoid frustration during installation.

The app functions seem to work well and load quickly. Also, the packaging was great and eco-friendly which is a plus. I am pretty impressed with this camera doorbell and would invest in another for our front door in the future!
