Q: 5. Is the Sony a7C compatible?

A: No, the Zhiyun Cinema Camera Control Cable for CRANE 3S (Sony) would not work with the Sony A7C. The Sony A7C would require a USB-C to USB-C cable when used with the Zhiyun 3s gimbal. The following cable should work if you did not get a USB-C to USB-C cable with your gimbal. A: As far as we know the Teradek RT Thumbwheel S Standard Wired Controller only works with Latitude or MK3.1 systems.

Q: 7. If this has a maximum torque of 1.2nm, does that mean it's less responsive than the mk3.1 and motr.x?

A: Yes, the Teradek RT MOTR.S Max Lens Motor does have less torque than the MK3.1 and MOTR.X. However, the tradeoff is that this is faster.

Q: 8. is it compatible with the zoom f1 to use SSH-6?

A: Yes, the Zoom ECM-6 Extension Cable with Action Camera Mount (19.7') is compatible with the Zoom F1 portable digital audio recorder.

Q: 9. Can this be used with the SmartKnob to control EF lenses on RED?

A: This product, along with the RT Smartknob, are both controllers. You would not connect them to each other, however you should be able to use both within a system with multiple motors. One could be set to control the focus while the other zoom or iris.

Q: 10. Is this compatible for a7s iii?

A: The Sony a7S iii has a multi port that this cable could connect too. However, the camera is not listed under the compatible cameras. So I can not guarantee this will work with the a7S iii.

[Black] Installing this cable protector has meant I no longer worry about the possibility of cable snapping the connector off whilst attached to the camera. Safe and sound now both in the case and on set. 5

[Black] I’ve been looking at this cable since it was announced, very curious on how the mdrx and cinetape integration works. It’s also very unclear to which version or models of cinetape it has to be, is it Cinematography Electronics, cinebug or Arri so to answer some questions. This works with the C. E. Cinetape original and cinetape 2 although still unclear about the other models it works with the original cinetape makers. This is a direct connection from the mdrx aux 1 port into the cinetape’s remote port. It’s very easy to set up and depending on the condition of your cinetape works extremely well and awesome paired with the ctrl 1 or 3 hand units and small hd monitors. 5

[Black] Worth it for a light weight set up. Makes mounting on a gimbal, handheld or steadicam easy and compact. Mounting point can't be rotated 360 degrees making it versatile for what ever camera you are using. 5

[Black] I had my cable go bad a week ago and I ordered a new one and it worked perfectly. Always double check that it works as sometimes the different Teradek cables I've bought didn't work right out of the box. Anytime I've had that issue B&H replaced the damaged item quickly. 5

[Black] I was pleasantly surprised to find that the EVF Cable Protector was so flush with the WC Top Plate and added virtually no height, which I found frustrating to the overall form factor of the camera with the competing Arri Top Plate that the camera shipped with. While I haven't been incredibly happy with the quality control from previous WC purchases, I've found the F5's WC accessories to be some of the best and most durable available for slimming down what can become an extremely cumbersome setup. 5

[Black] I am using this without a top plate, which apparently you can use with or without. It fits perfect, is not excessive in size, and perfectly protects the cable without making it harder to remove! 5

[Black] Used it with the V-mount/IO expansion module and it worked as expected. You'll need to set the RTMotion controller to the ARRI trigger mode with this configuration. 5

[Black] Red chose a very tiny lemonier port, so the cable is very thin and needs some care to avoid damage. considering the realities, Teradek did a good job. 5
