[Bus Powered] I bought this device specifically for downloading photos that I take from my camera onto my tablet. It performs exactly as expected and I really like the aluminum enclosure protecting the inner workings of the device. I haven't yet tried out the ports other than the SD card reader slot so I have no thoughts on the workings of these ports.

[Bus Powered] I recently bought a M1 Mac mini and am loving it, but one of the only drawbacks is it doesn't have many ports. My other accessories use up most of the available ports on it and I thought I was going to have to buy multiple adapters until I saw this. This is exactly what I was looking for! I have plenty to work with now and it works great! Definitely recommend if you need more ports. It's a little pricey, but I'd gladly only have one adapter versus more plugged into my computer.

This is especially true with new laptops. I own a Dell laptop that's small and portable, but unfortunately doesn't have an ethernet connection. I've found this to be the case with many small portable laptops that compromise functionality for size. This is fine, but it means having to buy those connections. That's why the plugable technologies usb C to ethernet cable is so helpful. I love that it has both a type C and USB connection so you can use it on many different types of computers including a PC or mac. The Ethernet connection will fit any ethernet cord and can connect to whatever connection you need. I use mine for whenever I need a hard connection to my internet to set it up since Wifi may not necessarily work. It's definitely made my life easier. I would recommend this to anyone who has a laptop or device without an ethernet connection. It will certainly be helpful especially if you need it urgently and will save you time having to go find it in a store later.

[0.145 lb] Just plugged it into a mini Windows computer and it works, no drivers are needed. Now I can back up and transfer files to and from my NAS in a reasonable amount of time.

It is easy to throw in your bag and take sloth with you while having a few different ports to charge different products at same time.
