This item only provides the ceiling case, Decora-style wall switch, and internal wiring for a 120VAC motor. The HD Progressive 1.1 Perforated material, fabric roller, and motor must be purchased separately.

A: I don't know. I don't have a SX710.

Q: 7. How does this work if you already have the lens hood/filter kit? Would it still fit?

A: Won't arise for me - hood/filter unit is too bulky for case and lens cap wouldn't fit if hood reversed (even if the case would) so I plan to carry the hood with filter attached separately and use as required; I'm also carrying in same small bag a spare battery, remote release, and eyepiece viewfinder.
