Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. What is the guide number of the flash?

A: Unfortunately, the guide number of the Kodak M38 is not provided by Kodak, and we have no way of accurately testing the flash's output.

Q: 2. What does it mean that it is an open box? Is the film still fresh?

A: The open box Kodak VISION3 200T Color Negative Film #5213 (35mm, 1000' Roll) is fresh. There is slight damage to the packaging, but the film is good.

Q: 3. Will this work for a Minolta 7s

A: This is a box of 5 rolls of 35mm roll film and not 120mm roll film so yes it will fit your Minolta 7s.

Q: 4. Please confirm the expiry day of the film. The image of the box does not show the expiry date.

A: Based on inventory from the store, the expiration date on this film is 03/2023. There will likely be some very slight variation in the batches we receive from Kodak.

Q: 5. will this work for the nikomat/nikkormat?

A: Yes, this will work in any 35mm film camera.

Q: 6. Five rolls in a box without open?

A: Indeed. 5 rolls of film. I don't think they'd sell an open box of film.

Q: 7. What is the difference between the Kodak m35 and m38?

A: As far as we are aware, the difference is that the M38 has a more powerful flash and has an easier-to-use film loading mechanism.

Q: 8. I used this film with Nikon FM-10 and Sekonic L-308X-U on a daylight, i sat my light meter to 400 ISO, am following the light meter readings and i still getting under exposed images, what u think is my problem. (**note** camera is in good condition)

A: Most probably your light meter is off and needs calibration.

Q: 9. Can you develop this film in a dark room?

A: This camera uses standard 35mm film. You can use any standard color or black and white film and develop it in an appropriate dark room.

Q: 10. Will this film work for my Pentax k1000?

A: yes

[f/10 ] For what it is, it's a good value. It's easy to use, comfortable to hold and carry, and just a blast to experience. Get yourself some developing chemistry and play the back nice, too, for the full diy experience.

[f/10 ] I have been wanting to shoot some casual film on trips as well as experiment with film soup. This is perfect to stick in my jacket pocket and take out to shoot quick photos of my friends and family. I can't wait to get my first few rolls developed!

[0.35 lb] Simple to use, feels solid, and I love the retro look. It's a real conversation starter.

The viewfinder is large and clear, but you really have to be conscious of where the lens is pointing. A lot of my shots ended up off-centre to where I thought I was looking. I'll just have to get used to not tilting the camera when it's pressed up against my face.

Also, I recommend always using the flash indoors, even if you think the room is bright enough.

The film stock I used was Kodak Ultramax 400 and Fujifilm Superia 400.

[35mm] First time camera owner and super excited, simple and easy to use instructions. Definitely not meant for long distance photography but 1m is definitely enough to take some fun photos especially for the first time learning how to use it. If I can learn to develop my own film that would be great but I'm glad I got this camera to start. Film is such a nostalgic feeling.
