A: Yes, this monitor is compatible with the Nikon 7000.

A: All monitors connected will show what is on the back screen. If you are in Live View, you will see Live View. If you are not in Live View the screen will be black. If you go to Menu, you will see that.

A: I purchased the BP-945 and it works great. Youll have to velcro it to the back of the monitor or somewhere out of the way because it is fairly large and heavy. Hope this helps!

A: I'm sure it will but I have a sony video camera & it works great on mine..but turn down volume on monitor if u have volume on your camera to avoid feed back
