A: Yes, it can be used on other cameras and our opinion is that the F3 should be fine. You must provide 12vDC via an XLR connection and the video input is a BNC male connection.

A: I'm afraid it cannot. This viewfinder is designed to attach directly to the Ursa. It can also be used with the Ursa Mini, but you must also purchase the Shoulder-Mount Kit to attach it.

A: Yes, the Kondor Blue Base Rig for Blackmagic Design URSA Mini 12K, 4.6K & 4K (Space Gray) comes included with the EVF wings.

A: Yes, the Blackmagic Design URSA Cine Top Handle will be compatible with the Blackmagic Design PYXIS 6K Cinema Box Camera (B&H # BLPYXIS6KBC).

A: According to Blackmagic, As the URSA Viewfinder hasn't yet been released, that information is not available. Once it has been released we'll have more information.

A: No, the Blackmagic Design URSA Cine EVF is not compatible with the Blackmagic Design Cinema Camera 6K (Leica L).

Q: 7. what epiece chamois will fit this?

A: The Bluestar eye cushion that best fits this viewfinder is their Large Round. They come in natural chamois, (everyday use) microfiber (hot sweaty days) and fleece. (cold days.) See the following link for all the large, round Bluestars B&H sells. BTW, I used this brand for years on large productions and I was very satisfied.

Q: 8. How much power does it draw?

A: That information has not been listed unfortunately. It does take it's power normally from an URSA camera and it's power is a 14.4 volt battery and I would surmise a nominal 12 volts and a few milliamps would be the power draw.

Q: 9. What size is the threaded hole on the Ursa Mini Viewfinder?

A: It's a 3/8 thread on top.

Q: 10. Best option to mount external monitor on this?

A: Most monitors that have a 1/4"-20 thread can be adapted to the Blackmagic Design URSA Cine Top Handle. For example, you could use the Blackmagic Design Video Assist 7" 12G-SDI/HDMI HDR Recording Monitor (B&H # BLVIDA127HRD) and the Tilta Accessory Mounting Bracket (Dual 1/4"-20 with Locating Pins), B&H # TIAAMB3B.

[Baseplate] One of the best EVF I've ever tried. Very well built and strong, and images are very clear. Though there is a noticeable amount of flicker though. 5

[Baseplate] I've purchased the viewfinder just because needed more accurate focusing and better exposure judgement on bright sunlight, but I found it was an ideal complement for any situation. I can hace different setups on the viewfinder, the camera screen and also the Video Assist, since Blackmagic Ursa Mini firmware allow you to decide to include luts, peaking, framing and so on for each individual SDI output and monitor, so it's fabulous. Super sharp, super accurate, not having any standby problems like others, so the IR sensor seems to work just fine. Positioning it's perfect. Big eyecup, nice and confortable, even wearing glasses. Also adds more stability due to the new point of contact. The only downside is that it is quite big to store and I should get a custom case for it, but I can deal with it. 5

[Baseplate] Hands down, this is the EVF you want if you have an URSA or URSA Mini. The mount allow could be reason enough: solid. Inside, the 1080 OLED means you don't see a single pixel and there is now delay between what the camera sees and what you're seeing in the viewfinder. 5

[Baseplate] I like how robust this viewfinder is and how seamlessly it attaches to an Ursa Mini camera. It's imagery is also excellent and is easy to get frames into focus. 5

[Baseplate] This is indeed an excellent viewfinder. I purchased a modification kit that allows me to use this viewfinder on my BMD URSA Mono Pro 4.6K with a top cheese plate & NATO handle from a third party vendor. I've read that approach has been taken to use this viewfinder with RED cameras & others. Of course, my warranty is voided, but I can still update the viewfinder. 5

[Baseplate] This is seriously one of the best viewfinders in the camera business. It's easily as good as, if not better than Zacuto's Gratical and even Arri's. I use it on an URSA Mini 4.6k and it absolutely rocks - it's a much have accessory for that camera. However, I wish the design was a bit more versatile for use with other cameras, although Wooden Camera and other 3rd party companies are making adapter kits for it. 5

[Baseplate] Does what it should. It's comfortable and easy to install. I know everyone seems to think metal is great but this viewfinder is heavy. it adds weight to an already too heavy camera. 5
