The Nikon Z-mount Sirui Saturn T2.9 1.6x Anamorphic Lens Set Nikon Zfrom Sirui Saturn T2.9 1.6x Anamorphic Lens Set Nikon Zprovides a classic anamorphic look in a compact, lightweight form. Ideal for gimbal, stabilizer, drone, and handheld use, this lens produces a wider look equivalent to a 22mm spherical full-frame field of view. It measures only 4" in length and features a carbon fiber barrel that reduces the weight of the lens. The lens produces horizontal neutral streaks when pointed at a light source, giving your footage a classic anamorphic look.

An image captured in 16:9 is de-squeezed to an anamorphic 2.8:1 aspect ratio, whereas shooting in 3:2 yields a 2.4:1 final image. The T2.9 aperture produces a shallow depth of field, separating your subject from the foreground, and the 10-blade aperture creates oval bokeh effects.

[Nikon Z] This lens is awesome, and produces clean images with real cinematic effects. I have the complete Venus T2.9 set (35mm, 50mm, 75mm, 100mm, 135mm, 150mm plus the 1.25 adapter that produces a 2x squeeze when paired with the 1.6x anamorphic squeeze of the lenses). The lenses produce uniform colors all throughout the set, and images are sharp wide open at T2.9. Somehow SIRUI has managed to make these primes sharp wide open, but not too sharp, given you that movie like look without any diffusion filters on the front of your lens. If you haven't tried the anamorphic look, you have no idea what your projects are missing. As result of purchasing this set, my G Masters and spherical Cine primes are collecting dust. The SIRUI 1.6x T 2.9 Venus Anamorphic lenses are a great set of glass. 5

[35mm] Excellent budget anamorphic lens. It works exceptionally well with my Sony A7sIII full frame camera. The Viltrox DC-X3 on camera monitor just complements the whole setup. It has exec 1.6 de-squeeze factor to help you compose every shot. 5

[Nikon Z] The best way to go anamorphic at a budget price using the full size of an MFT sensor like on ZCam E2. Top quality build and image. Just an error in the B&H description: the filter size is 67mm!!! 5

[35mm] Few people understand what does it mean anmorphic , with this full frame anmorphic you can enjoy with really depth of field as 50mm and wide view as wide angle after De-Squeeze This is a sharp lens , with videos gears like a high class but there is a disadvantage in the not correct horizon level in the corners , but i can accept that in this lens price , it is like a gift from suriu . With 8k you can crop and get the good video , so its highly recommend if you have 8k or 6k 5

[7 x 5.9 x 4.8"] .I would characterize myself as an amateur filmmaker, or at least a serious hobbyist, who has had no experience with cinematic lenses. This lens was an absolute blast to experiment with. It's a solidly built metal body, with smooth-turning geared focus and aperture rings. It is manual focus, but with the use of focus peaking, very sharp images can be achieved. Not coming from a cinema background, T-stops are a bit mysterious to me, but the wide T2.9 aperture (which I've read is roughly equivalent to f2.1) allows lower ISOs in low light conditions.
