The Da-Lite 70382 Fixed Frame Screen 110 x 176"can be mounted on the wall or in a wall opening. It has a viewing area of 110 x 176" for an aspect ratio of 16:10 and 208" diagonal.

Da-Tex is a vinyl, gray, rear projection surface that works well in high ambient light with a reduced viewing angle. It has a 1.3 gain, 60° viewing angle, and offers high transmission and low reflective values for optimal viewing. This seamless surface yields remarkable color rendition and image contrast. It can be cleaned with mild soap and water, and is flame-retardant and mildew-resistant. It is also GREENGUARD GOLD Certified.

Reinforced black binding on all four sides attaches the surface to the frame with metal snaps. The snaps and binding are concealed by the frame, made of 1.5" square, matte black, powder-coated aluminum. The frame is slip-jointed at corners and joints. Standard wall-mounting brackets are included.

A: Every installation is differnt but the screen should assemble in well under an hour. Wall mounting times may vary with experience.

A: This screen is not designed as one of those perforated screens for sound. I have not put speakers behind it but if you are wanting to do that for convenience its sound transparency is not bad. If you are a true audiophile wanting the most optimized sound then this screen is NOT designed or ideal for this purpose.

Q: 7. Can this be used for a Ultra Short Throw projector?

A: Yes, this screen can be used with an ultra short throw projector, to make a 120- inch diagonal image.

Q: 8. Will this work with an ultra short throw projector?

A: Yes, keep in mind this is meant to reject light coming from the ceiling.

[208" (528 cm)] This screen looks beautiful, is simple to assemble, and is an amazing value for the price! I couldn't be happierwith it. The frame looks clean and professional, and the screen is perfectly smooth- no awkward stretch or wrinkles. My only critique is it's a little difficult to make the corners align perfectly. I ended up with maybe half a millimeter gap on one corner, but you would have to look very closely to notice that. Otherwise the design is flawless. Impressively well engineered design with a minimal number of parts. I almost never leave reviews for products, but I am legitimately impressed with this product. I wouldn't want its lack of prior reviews to dissuade anyone from trying it out. 5

[208" (528 cm)] Excellent view of screen from wide side angle even with a room with high ambient light (7 8' high windows with miniblinds for light control. Highly recommend the screen. 5

[60°] Have this 8' 16x9 installed in the front of the church sanctuary replacing an 8' 4x3 with the standard wide bezel. The narrow 1/4 bezel looks great. Quality and attention to detail in this screen is impressive. It was simple to assemble and install. 5

[80 lb] After correspondence with B&H on product lines and availability , I selected the cinema contour to marry up with the projector specifications that were needed. It also worked well with the acoustic demands of the in wall speakers hidden behind it . The result was spot on. Excellent price coupled with exceptional performance. B&H got the job done. [60°] This is my fourth ALR (ambient light reflecting) screen. The first thing to know is, there are no miracle screens. There are good ALR screens, but none perform miracles. Even the best don't show a great picture in a really bright room. The second thing to know is, don't necessarily believe the promotional pictures and videos from manufacturers that show amazing screen performance. They have positioned the screens, projectors and cameras to show the screens at their very best. You are unlikely to duplicate this in a real world situation. Almost all ALR screens have, to one extent or another, a major problem – screen artifacts. Shimmering, hot spots, sparkles, grainy appearance and so on. In order to eliminate this problem I have owned four different screens. My newest one, which wasn't available when I first started my quest for better picture quality, the Da-Lite Parallax, has none of these problems. Zero! The Parallax probably doesn't have quite as good of ambient light rejection properties as some of the other screens, but with some light control and careful placement of light sources, you can still have light in the room and a great picture. A great artifact free picture is really important now that we have 4K material to watch. 5

[Da-Tex] I use it in a classroom at a university. It's got a great surface, brilliant white, big and more than I expected. It looks like a big LCD screen on the wall, way cool. 5

[60°] Assembly for very straight forward. Looks great on the wall. Really like the velour wrap around the frame. It does a very good job of rejecting light back onto the screen. Because of the size, (110 inch) I decided to put up a folding screen to cover it when not in use. 5

[80 lb] We used the screen at our annual and special town meeting and found that it was better than anticipated. the powerpoints were projected so all could see no matter where they sat at our meeting. I couldn't be happier and worth the price. 5
