It also features a second Thunderbolt 3 port capable of daisy chaining and providing up to 60W of charging power, plus an SFF-8644 SAS host port and SFF-8644 SAS expansion port. LTO-8 media supports a native storage capacity of up to 12TB and data transfers of up to 300 MB/s, or, when using 2.5:1 compression, a storage capacity of up to 30TB and data transfers of up to 500 MB/s.

This drive is backward compatible with LTO-7 media which supports a native storage capacity of up to 6TB and a compressed capacity of up to 15TB. Using Apple's MMEL2ZM/A adapter, Thunderbolt 2 host ports are supported.
