The SmallRig Phone Holder for DJI RS Gimbalsfrom SmallRig Phone Holder for DJI RS Gimbalsallows you to attach your smartphone to a compatible DJI gimbal. It's compatible with the Ronin series RS 4, RS 4 Pro, RS 3, RS 3 Pro, RS 3 Mini, RS 2, RSC 2, Ronin-S, and Ronin-SC gimbals. A shoe mount receiver secures onto the NATO mount on the side of the gimbal using M4 screws, and the shoe adapter on the phone holder allows you to quickly mount and unmount the phone holder.

The adjustable grip jaws of the holder support all common smartphones measuring 2.5 to 3.6" wide, it supports up to 1.1 lb, and it can be rotated into a vertical or horizontal position. The Phone Holder can also be mounted on 1/4"-20 supports such as a mini tripod, monopod, or ball head using a standard 1/4"-20 thread on the shoe adapter.

A: The SmallRig Extended Arca-Type Quick Release Plate for DJI RS 2 / RSC 2 RS 3 / RS 3 Pro 3162 is designed to attach to camcorders or camera cages with 1/4”-20 screw and 3/8”-16 screw to prevent twists. If your camera has two connection points it could work without a cage. But normally you would use this plate with a cage.

Q: 3. Will this work with the small rig FX3 case BH #SM3278 MFR #3278 ?

A: There is no need for this quick release since the SmallRig Half Cage for Sony FX3 already has a Arca Swiss compatible bottom on it.

Q: 4. Will this fit the Manfrotto BeFree video head (to replace 501PL)?

A: Yes it should as the Befree Live Video uses this style of plate.

A: Yes, the SmallRig Extended Arca-Type Quick Release Plate for DJI RS 2 & RSC 2 Gimbals could be used to mount a SmallRig cage to the DJI RS 4 Pro in place of using the upper quick release plate as the bottom of the plate is an Arca-Type.

Q: 6. Would this work with a Tilta full cage on a BMPCC 6K? I need something with two mounting points because the camera jitters with the included RS2 plate.

A: no it will not. this is made specifically for certain SmallRig cages. We do not recommend this plate for Tilta products.

Q: 7. How can the 3/8 screw be removed?

A: The 3/8"-16 screw can be removed on the SmallRig Extended Arca-Type Quick Release Plate for DJI RS 2 & RSC 2 Gimbals by moving the screw to the back of the plate and unscrewing the screw through the wider threading on the slot.

Q: 8. I want to use this to easily attach my peak design arca plate to the Benro s8 fluid head. Will that work?

A: No, the peak design ARCA SWISS plate to the Benro s8 fluid head does not work on the SmallRig Manfrotto-Style Quick Release Plate with Arca-Type Mount for DJI RS 2/RSC 2.

A: The manufacturer does not list the SmallRig Manfrotto-Style Quick Release Plate with Arca-Type Mount for DJI RS 2/RSC 2 as compatible with the Manfrotto Gimbal 220. We believe it is too long and the camera mounted on it would hit the rear motor.

[0.315 lb] A must have for your set up. Looking at the screen on the back of the camera as the camera is moving in different directions is very difficult. By mounting your phone to the Gimbal the camera can be moved to each side or up and down but the image on your phone remains in perfect view at all times. 5

[Black] The 2 screws on this mount are a great improvement from my other mount. The previous with one screw mount would eventually come lose after a long shoot causing the camera to slightly turn and give me errors on the gimbal. 5
