Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. HI, DOES THIS CASE FIT FOR A LEICA LS 601??

A: If it is an SL camera then it should fit but you may not have room for accessory lenses.

Q: 2. Hello, How waterproof is this bag?thanksron hall

A: It is very weatherproof. The canvas is a high quality tightly woven and wax coated type. It can withstand the elements but is not waterproof per se (waterproof indicates items that can be fully sumbmersed underwater without issue).

Q: 3. I am keen for this bag over the Billingham L2 (very similar) as the front pocket is zipped. Could this be used with my Nikon D800 and 1-2 lenses? Cheers, Cham

A: I am not familiar with the exact size of the D800, but I would say this bag would not fit the camera and would definitely not fit the camera with a zoom lens, let alone a second lens. I put my canon 5d mark iii with a lens on it into the bag just to test, and couldn't even close the top. It is designed specifically to fit a leica system so it probably won't work for and DSLR. Cheers

Q: 4. Has anyone tried checking this cart for travel? Is there a better choice for air travel?

A: This cart to my understanding is too large to carry onto a plane. You might consider instead something like the Remin Concorde III Cart BH #REC3 • MFR #C3. And be sure to double check your airline's carry on luggage dimensions guidelines.

Q: 5. does this bag fit for leica M10r and 3 m lenses (50mm f1.4, 28mm f2.8 and 135mm f3.4)?

A: Yes Leica Combination Bag for M system will fit the M10r and those three lenses. You may need to keep one of the lenses on the camera when it is in the bag.

Q: 6. will this bag hold a leica q and charger with batt?

A: I love this bag. It holds my M240 plus 4 other Leica lenses, including the huge 50mm f/0.95. All the accessories can be stored on the side. Worth the price!

Q: 7. Another surface question, has anyone used this model on sand? If so, how did it do?

A: According to the manufacturer, this cart will travel well on sand and gravel.

Q: 8. How wide is the strap? What size shoulder pad would I need??

A: It comes with a strap (2 inches wide / 50 mm) and a soft shoulder pad (2.75 inches wide / 75mm). The strap is really strong with big rotating detachable clips.

Q: 9. The interior size is 9.63 x 4.25 x 5.75 but I was curious if it would fit an Ipad. It looks like a sleeve for it but just may be the way the photo was shot. Anyone having the bag tried to fit an Ipad in it?

A: I have an i-Pad Mini which fits perfectly well inside this beautiful Leica bag. However, I only use this bag for my M240 and three other lenses without the i-Pad. Too much exposure to dropping the lenses while deploying the bag for the i-Pad holder.

Q: 10. how do you uncross and open the handles?

A: easy!

[Zipper] Bought for my Lumix DMC ZS-100 and it fits perfect, snug but not too tight. It has enough padding for me to feel that my camera will be safe with minor bumps and short drops, hope to never test that. Im very happy with the product.

[Handheld Only] Even with the SmallRig wood grip fitted, the ProCompact 1 snugly holds the Sony RX100MkVII, with an extra BX-1 battery and spare SD card.

This will will become my primary travel photography rig, far lighter than the Nikon FE-2 with 24/2.8, 85/2 and 180/2.8 plus film I would have carried circa 1986, yet image quality very similar. It is even a bit lighter than the Nikon P7700 I used for a while, which could also fit a somewhat larger belt case and much lighter than the Nikon D3300 with 18-140, that needs a shoulder bag, I have also used.

All of the above outfits cover a 7-8X imaging range, totally adequate for travel, presuming no need for wildlife or sports coverage.

[Handheld Only] Perfect grab-and-go bag for the X100 series. Fits my X100F with thumb grip and Nisi filter. Snug, but not tight. Can also fit a spare battery in the front zip pocket. The V1 did not fit my camera so the little bit of extra room in the v2 made the difference.

[Handheld Only] Case of very good quality.

Perfect for the panasonic zs100 ... but you have to put the lens up, see the photo.

The compartment accessories can easily put 2 spare batteries.

[Handheld Only] Purchased to replace an older Tamrac case that was very tight fit for Sony RX100. This case has plenty of room for RX100. Front accessory pocket holds battery plus a couple of extra SD cards. Belt loop & removable strap.

[Black] Bought this to carry a small point and shoot digital camera on a backpack chest strap while hiking. Very satisfied with the flap covered padded camera compartment, and zippered section for extra batteries and SD cards. Much better design than the Lowepro case it replaced. Just what I needed.

[Zipper] A bit tight for a Canon g7x mk ii, but it works. The compact 2 bag is much too tall, so the camera slides around.

[Zipper] I use this bag to carry my Canon G-16 camera which is a back-up for my larger system. Quality is very good & it has both a belt carry and around the neck strap option. There is a small zipper compartment for extra battery, SD cards and some cash in the front section.

This comes in handy for bike rides & has a quick release front cover to get to my camera quicky. I like the nice material and solid construction & strong front clip.

[Handheld Only] Tamrac is by far my favorite camera bag manufacturer. They are well made and if you do have a problem, their customer service is amazing!
