[Dry Adhesion] Works great to protect my rear LCD and I also like that a protector for the top LCD is included. I tried a different brand prior and this is a big improvement- less thick, better fit. I had an issue during install (likely my fault) and customer service sent me TWO free replacements so I could try again. Great support.

[Glass] I had a problem installing this protector. Both B&H Photo and Expert Shield provided excellent customer service, doing everything they could to make my experience a positive one. No worries here. Everything worked out and the glass shield looks and works great.

[Dry Adhesion] Great product. If you value your camera you need to purchase this. It's made out of tempered glass not plastic. Everything you need is included in the kit. Takes only a few minutes to install. It's a pretty simple process. Mine went on in only a couple of minutes. My biggest fear is that there would be bubbles. No bottles fits perfectly.

[Dry Adhesion] There are some videos that show best practices to install. The humid bathroom works well. The tape hinge for both the LCD and small top panel is very necessary. We used green painters tape with nice results. Tape to remove dust works very well, as does a compressed air can. A strong, focused, side-lighting with flashlight really shows dust and is very necessary.

Do practice runs first.

[0.1 lb] I used all the tips from the manufacturer's video, it took 2 tries, but I now have a protector without any bubbles or other problems. There is one video in which a credit card (I used an old library card) is sanded to a wedge on one end which I advise viewing. If you make an installation mistake, using it to lift the poorly installed screen off is the only way I can think of to get the shield off without damaging your screen. The screen protector works perfectly: clear, transmits touch inputs without difficulty, and is pretty scratch proof. Highly recommend.

[Glass] I think the extra protection afforded by a transparent LCD protector is important for displays that always exposed to the outside world. I got this protector for my G9 more to protect the top LCD display than to protect the rear display, since the fully articulating rear display can be turned to where it is protected by the camera body. Both covers went on smoothly and with no problems. You should certainly make a few practice runs at positioning the cover before removing the film from the screen's adhesive side, just so you have some idea of what to expect where you place and adhere the screen. So far, these screens have been ideal; they are effectively invisible and I'm no longer aware of their presence. All in all, I couldn't have expected more.

[Glass] Excellent protection. By following directions and using a little care it was easy to put on. A separate screen for the top LCD panel is a nice added plus!

[0.1 lb] It is easy to install and adds additional protection to the back screen. As the screen can't be reversed to protect it while in the camera bag or when hanging on a camera strap banging on your side it's useful protection. Note: this GX7 does not cover the screen on the GX9. The G9 protecting screen however does fit the GX9.
