The Shure A901-R-GM is a gripple suspension mount kit with a black back cover that allows the MXA901-R conference microphone to be suspended from the ceiling via three 10' steel cables. Hardware to attach the cables to the ceiling is not included. When installed, the kit provides an attractive free-floating mounting solution for a neat and professional look. In addition to the steel cables, three angel side hook connectors, three M4 eyelet screws, and eight cable ties are also provided.

A: The Mindshift website says that the First Light 20L is compatible with the tripod suspension kit. To further confirm this, the photos of the First Light shows the elastic loops on the bottom of the pack for tucking the tripod legs into when using the tripod suspension straps along with a photo of the suspension kit actually being used.

A: The suspension mount in the Rycote Windshield and Suspension Kit for Zoom H6 Portable Recorder has a 3/8"-16 female thread for mounting onto tripods, boompoles, hand grips and other stands. If the tripod does not have a matching male 3/8"-16 mount, a simple thread adapter should allow for compatible mounting.

A: This shock mount will not work with the Rode NTG shotgun mic. The Audio-Technica AT8415 Universal Shockmount, BH #AUAT8415 would work well with that mic on a studio boom arm.

A: Yes. I use this with my Zoom H5, and the hand grip and suspension dramatically cut down on the handling noise. The fur also makes a huge difference on distortion from wind or any small breeze.

Q: 9. Will this fit the Rode Procaster?

A: The Auray SSM-BC10 will not fit the Rode Procaster. You would want to use something more like BH #AUSMRM20 or BH #ROPSM1 for that.

[2.795 lb] I was not hopeful that this mic would be sensitive enough to pick up all the individuals on a conference table that measures about 20' by 10'. I was happy to be wrong because it was the only solution I could come up with to meet my VIP users' demands. I paired it with a Shure USB/XLR adapter for use with Zoom. It picks up even the people who are facing away from it. The Zoom noise algorithm took care of the background noise due to the needed high sensitivity setting. It comes with a white wind screen that is not needed for my application, but it was an appreciated detail. The mic looks very clean hangs about 3' above the table top and is inobtrusive on the far end video. 5

[2.795 lb] My regular gig is as a 3 piece acoustic folk act, so this is perfect for us; we rarely need more than 3 mics. Other cases were too big (stored more mics space we did not need), too costly or too cheaply made, but this Gator brand bag, at $ is rugged and protects the mics we use during transportation to and from gigs. For us, it's perfect and I've yet to be disappointed in any Gator brand soft bag I've ever used. 5

[Black] I use this in a small church setting where dialogue between teacher and students are live streamed to the internet and it picks up both well and very clear. It does pick up everything so be prepared to mix or use a software if doing the same thing for noise canceling. 5
