Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. can you hook a power amp to the mm2000?

A: I don't think so. It has a built-in amp.

Q: 2. .....I just read the description: it says Bass, Treble and Balance Controls YET as I look at the face of this unit, NO bass, NO treble and NO balance controls? What gives? Mistake or are the controls in the back or ...what??....

A: It is available from the Audio Function button and visibly adjusted via the LCD screen MENU.

Q: 3. Playing MP3 from USB or SD in shuffle mode, then turn off the unit. When turned on again, will it play the same song or restart at #1?

A: When turning off the unit, the song position will be reset to the start of song # 1.

Q: 4. I just read Bass, Treble, and Balance Controls YET if you look at the photo of the face --NO bass, NO treble, NO balance controls? Where are they?

A: To get to change the Bass, Treble, Balance, there is a button labeled Audio Functions press it and it goes thru all three choices to you can change it to how you like it.The EQ button gives you optional pre set sounds Classical, Flat, Pop, Jazz, JazzRock sounds best to me.I just wished it allowed 2 sets of speakers. I always make sure I turn the speakers down to off before I snap it off or on, so I don't blow anything..

Q: 5. Putting sound system in gym I need to run 8 speakers loud?

A: Please reach out to us directly at audio@bhphoto.com , so we can help recommend an amp based on the specific speakers you are using.

Q: 6. The specs say it puts out 1,200 watts. We know that's not true. Does anyone know the real constant power output?

A: The manufacturer has not published any detailed power specifications. I would assume an RMS or continuous rating of less than 120 watts at 4 ohms.

Q: 7. how does the loop fuction in and output work?

A: The loop in and out is used to integrate an external signal processor such as an equalizer with the MM2000. The output of the external device is plugged into the loop in and the loop out is plugged into the input of the external device; thus creating a loop.

Q: 8. dose it have a remote control?

A: The MM3000 does not have a remote available.

Q: 9. what is the speaker output OHMS required for each channel ?

A: This mixer/amp can handle speakers between 4 and 16 OHMS.

Q: 10. what is the speaker output OHMS required?

A: The MM3000 will support speakers rated from 4 to 16 ohms.

Since Presonus does not provide Dante capability in their StudioLive mixers, this adapter is a good way to add it for at least four output streams from one of the mixer's mix busses. Great for sending Dante streams to remote powered speakers, saving mixer analog outputs for other uses.

I use this with a Roland M200i digital mixer to provide an audio feed to a livestream PC. Using the LAN saves adding an analog adapter to that PC.

Adding this card to Ashly Digimix24 will release the full power of the mixer, allowing you to use all input/output channels in your PC/DAW/iPad. It works flawlessly, and my only minor complaint might be that the latency is not as low as e.g. my RME UCX, but still in the very close to it and in the unnoticeable side of things (about 5-6mS full duplex). This also has to do with the sample rate used (48KHz), while UCX can go up to 192KHz, which reduces latency further. All things considered, I suggest Ashly USB-32 without a second thought! Service of B&H was also awesome, arriving to the other end of the world (New Zealand) in very short time and without issues!

Audinate Dante AVIO 2x2 AES3/EBU I/O Adapter for Dante Audio NetworkS works perfectly. Just add to your Dante network, POE switch or injector required, route audio in Dante Controller and you are set! Great economical solution when you need a pair of AES3 audio inputs and/or outputs. Highly recommended.

Perfect for adding one AES device at 96k to your Dante Network. I bought 2 of these, one for each of my Bricasti Reverb units so I could put them on my Dante network. Worked flawlessly.
