Go beyond the legacy of classic searchlights with the Claypaky Skylos, a compact IP66-rated moving head that's ideal for every environment and field of use, from touring and large events to theme parks and fixed installations. With its unique optical and chromatic characteristics, Skylos makes use of a tailor-made 300W white laser source that's reliable, safe, and fully sealed. With an IP66 rating, the Skylos features marine-grade C5-M protection from the elements and it is fitted with a fan to eliminate condensation from the front lens for consistent output and beam performance.

Designed for versatility, Skylos offers features well beyond a simple searchlight scanner, including a slot for customizable gobos and a battery of prisms. One wheel features a rotating six-sided prism and a rotating five-sided linear prism, while a second level offers a fixed 4-sided prism, which can be superimposed on the other two to achieve a breath-taking Moonflower effect and many other fantastic never-seen-before mid-air effects. Laser technology adds outstanding optical contrast, making all light projections razor-sharp. Other features include a 15-color wheel with color filters designed to preserve and optimize the high brightness of the light beam, a 5° frost filter for a soft edge effect, which can be used in various applications, a 24-bit digital dimmer, and a digital stop-strobe effect.

The front panel features an LCD display and a 5-button menu system, while the rear panel provides connections for 5-pin DMX I/O, powerCON I/O, and EtherCON. The fixture supports Art-Net, RDM, sACN, and DMX (20 channels). The Skylos includes two Omega mounting brackets and a powerCON power cord.

The fixture is designed to withstand some of the harshest conditions, offering marine-grade protection from the elements and it is fitted with a fan to eliminate condensation from the front lens for consistent output and beam performance.

Its power consumption and luminous efficacy are excellent. With a power consumption of only 600W, the Skylos has the same light output as a 4000W Xenon lamp.

A special patent-pending design optical system turns the laser-emitted light into a solid, dense, saturated light beam without any visible hotspots. The beam aperture ranges from 0.5 to 5°

The laser unit is housed in a safe, sealed module, which is not accessible to users. This module produces a beam of light with incredible optical characteristics: bright, perfectly collimated, uniformly mixed, and evenly distributed across its section. Unlike some discharge lamp fixtures, its beam comes with a negligible amount of heat, so there is no risk of heating up scenery and objects.

The laser source lasts for approximately 30,000 hours with minimal decay in luminous efficacy. This is a significant technology improvement, which results in an excellent ROI for rental companies.

[1x Laser Diode ] I bought a couple of these. I recommend them to anyone. Lots of Punch! Great DMX control and really good programs for sound active mode. More than enough power for any bar or church setting.

[30,000 Hours] This fixture is very well built and meets every expectation that I had. I also found the Gator GP-66 bag fits this light perfectly.

[1x Laser Diode ] I have a lot of experience with the High End Sola wash 19's and the 36's, I like these more. We have had them for about 9 months now and they are still not too loud and we haven't had an issue with them. You will need to buy a clamp and safety cable but with how low the price is compared to their competition I'm not complaining. They have great punch I use them in a full proscenium house and they have no problem cutting through the rest of the rig.

[540°] These are *tiny*, and put out a bunch of light for their size. Movement is fast enough for my needs, the fans are surprisingly quiet, and they're inexpensive but not cheap-feeling. There's things I wish they'd do (e.g. a bit of zoom, tilt past 180), but those would add size and price. The only realistic improvement I can think of would be an option to turn off the little DMX signal indicator light. These lights are nicely focused on being what they are and do it extremely well.

[1x Power Cable] Worth every penny. They zoom and they produce fantastic colors. What more could you ask for?
