[1] The DJI car charger is perfect for when I get a last minute call to go do a shoot. Since the DJI batteries discharge after five days if you get a last minute call sometimes you don't have time to charge them back up. Now I can pop it in my charger and charge up on my way to the location.

[1] As a drone pilot its always a good idea to be able to charge a flight battery while in the field and as long as you have access to a vehicle
this charger will prove invaluable. Flying in cold weather, especially with a little wind can drain your batteries much faster than when its warm outside. Realistically it takes about an hour to charge a battery.
This charger is also a great way to warm up a battery safely so you can get some more flight time from it even if it's not fully charged and you need some power before it can completely recharge. Or to keep backup batteries warm while you're flying out in the cold. And it can be a life saver when you've forgotten to charge the night before and have to drive to a location and can charge on the way. It also works with the 3 way charger, but that can take some time. When flying in the winter I have the three way plugged in with two batteries mounted, staying warm and fully charged and then switch out the batteries as they need it. I just keep mine in the truck ready to use whenever needed.
I certainly don't regret buying mine and consider it an essential for any serious pilot, even if you have multiple batteries on hand.

[Black] With the Fly More Combo you have a slightly larger charger that can accept several batteries for charging (only one charges at the time but you dont have to monitor as it does its job).  If one only needs to charge one battery, this is the charger to do it!

[1] There's nothing more disappointing than running out of batteries when flying your DJI Air 2P. You can use this car charger to recharge one to three batteries (serially, with the original charging strip).

[Black] The proprietary batteries that come with The Mavic Air 2 (or Air 2s) are notorious for draining quickly - especially when they haven't been charged for several days. Fortunately, this car charger solves the problem. I received a last-minute call to shoot aerial footage the other day and was worried about having enough battery power for an entire shoot (despite having 2 extra batteries on hand). No problem with this baby - just plug it into your cigarette lighter, and you should have at least (1) fully charged battery upon reaching your destination. I never travel without it!

[1] I have two of these car chargers that I use on long camping trips. I use two because while they work with the DJI charging hubs the connected batteries charge in series (one, then the next, etc). Thus with two chargers you actually get twice as many batteries charged in the same amount of time. As best I can tell, these car chargers work as fast as the AC chargers as long as your system provides great enough voltage.


In many vehicles with older batteries and thin wiring running to the DC outlets (cigarette lighter outlets) you may need to have your car running to produce voltage high enough to satisfy the charger. However, we constantly use two of these in our camping truck running them from the house batteries without the engine running. This is with a large house battery bank charged by a large array of solar panels.
Alternatively, I have heard of several people who use large portable battery packs (often with lithium batteries) such as Goal Zero Yeti's with these DC chargers successfully.
The chargers are well constructed and I find the length of the two leads adequate without being cumbersom.
