The fan also has 26 LEDs with a side diffuser on each side of the frame. Highly recommend camera on a tripod, aperture mode, manual focus at F4 then change to highest F stop your lighting permits (without moving the camera), minimum ISO setting and use timed shutter release. Also, to capture correct ring colors make sure your white balance set to actual light conditions.

A: The only reason a lens or whatever piece of equipment is refurbished is because something was wrong with the lens in the first place. Could be the focus motor or any other part inside the lens. If the lens was refurbished by Nikon USA, I wouldnt worry about the lens. It was renewed to factory condition and certainly looks like new. If the price difference between the refurbish and a brand new one is significant for you, go for it, buy it. Now if you are not sure, just buy a brand new one. Its just money!
