[Aluminum] I've been filming professionally for 30 years. I wish I would have had this cart 20 years ago. Big time saver and does an outstanding job transporting all my camera gear to set. It's heavy when broke down but should be after all the weight it can hold. I could not be happier with this purchase and no more back pain lifting gear and making multiple trips.

[66 lb / 30 kg] I have had great success and work flow from my two PROAIM production carts, including the 42-inch model that I'm using for Video Village transport. Let's be honest: production carts tend to be ABSURDLY priced. They are basically four wheels and a simple metal frame. There is NO REASON except pricing GREED that some companies are charging $3,000+ for something you could make from $300 worth of materials purchased at Home Depot. Still, time is money, and if you want a solid and reliable cart that's ALREADY fully assembled and quickly broken down for transport, try this PROAIM cart or others in their product line. If you buy from BHPhoto, you SAVE a lot from the international freight out of India.

[66 lb / 30 kg] Firstly, getting a production cart was something I should have done ages ago..

I literally could not have done my last shoot without it. I needed to swap between gimbal, stick, and handheld while going from multiple locations around a fair, throughout day & night.. which required bringing lighting, reflectors, etc...

The 42 cart allowed me to have a place to transfer media from the camera, hold lenses, hold c-stands, etc..

There are other carts, but they are wayyy more expensive, and do essentially the same thing..

The only advantage of some of the other carts is that they offer more options for attachments... but for the money, this is the best one..

Attachments I can STILL get:
C-stand, tripods, Camera Holders, Cup holders, Trays, umbrellas... I'm sure I could also get a monitor stand, but haven't looked..

at 42 it's JUST big/small enough to fit inside of a Dodge caravan standing up straight... of course, can fit almost anywhere if broken down.

PROs:
- it's price is so much better than every other cart..
- it still gets all the attachments
- can hold a large weight capacity
- tires roll across every kind of surface

CONS:
- it will make you instantly regret not having one your whole life
- you will want to get plenty more attachments
- can't fit a 3rd shelf, but that might be a plus in some cases

[Aluminum] Seriously impressed, exceeded my expectations. It's so well built, very tough and quick to assemble and disassemble.

Be sure to add air to the tires when it arrives, all the way up to the recommended 50psi. Also be careful not to completely loosen the grips or attachment bars as the interior screw can fall out. Otherwise an excellent cart.

[Aluminum] This is a bargain...as solid as expected...I replaced all the knobs with #8 metric hex bolts to create a few inches of space at the edges of the shelves... everything from my Innovativ fits this cart. Made is India obviously by folks aware of set work and Innovativ cart design. If you need a solid cart and portability and breakdown are not a big priority, then this stuff works.

[66 lb / 30 kg] Although is very heavy, is great for a set. Moves really smooth. Holds a lot of weight and is very steady and safe for your equipment

[66 lb / 30 kg] It’s hard to understate the build quality of this cart. I’ve been renting the other industry standard cart made in the U.S. for a few months. Unsure if the build quality of the Atlas V2 would stack up. I decided the other brand was just outside my budget so I bought the 48” Atlas V2 when it went on sale. It just arrived and wow this thing is really well built. While the US made cart is very well designed and weight was a factor in their design, this thing is absolutely a beast. But not overly built in a way some things can be. The fit and finish is really really nice. I’m pretty picky about the details and Proaim really nailed it.

Pros:

The top and bottom deck are milled aluminum with zero flex.

The flop down top tray rail adds strength to the top deck when it’s down well as the hinges are very sturdy. The version I have is not the piano hinge style. Milled aluminum hinges. The latch mechanism is very satisfying.

There are zero sharp spots as far as I can seen. Everything is chamfered and milled smooth.

The quality of mill work is not quite to the level of Tilta but pretty close.

The connections are all well made. Not loose or fiddly at all.

I’m 6’1” and the height of the top deck is very comfortable slightly taller than other carts.

Cons

It’s pretty heavy. Hard to call this a con because I wanted a sturdier cart than the Inovativ and really I dont see how they could have made this lighter without sacrificing rigidity. Not so much that packing it up and loading it into a car would be hard but you would not want to fly with it.

The carpet on the two decks feels cheap. I’ll probable swap it out with a medium grey loop as to see small black screws and other bits.

If you are looking for your first cart and don’t have the budget for the more expensive brands. You can’t go wrong. It would even work great as a one man simple g&e cart. In a studio environment where it stays built this cart is a no brainer.

I’m massively pleased.

[Aluminum] I love this cart. This thing is well built and easy to set up. I did it by myself and had no problem getting everything configured and tightened up. It rolls easily and fits through doors. It's got tons of cheese plate screw holes al over the sides to mount whatever you want, and it's thick, strong cnc milled aluminum so it will last. The wheels are easy to put on and take off, plus the whole thing can be folded up with the wheels fitting inside and it turns into a big rectangle like the obelisk from 2001 A Space Odessa, but with hard wheels on one end and a a handle on the other to roll it around and put it into a van or truck for transport. The, main wheels are big rubber ones that seem to be able to run flat, but inflating them makes the cart roll very easily, and I've take this cart off road on bumpy ground with and Alexa Mini and tons of stuff on it, and it can do it. The accessory ecosystem is very robust as well. I bought two camera mounts with the horse shoe metal bracket and I have different bowl sizes to mount various tripod heads. It is awesome to be able to fully build two cameras on tripod heads and roll onto set with them. I have the tripod holder on one end that carries two tripods, so I can be fully mobile with a two cameras, and even a teleprompter rig. This cart can carry lights, apple boxes, lenses, tools, cables, batteries, a sound bag + mixer, a lap top and a some C-stands or light stands all at once.
