The Shure A901-R-PM-3/8IN is a pole mount kit with a black mount cover that allows the MXA901-R conference microphone to be suspended from the ceiling using a threaded rod with a 3/8" diameter (available separately). When paired with a rod of the appropriate length, the kit provides an attractive free-floating mounting solution for a neat and professional look. A VESA bracket, set of screws, hex key, 3/8" adapter, jam nut, and set of cable ties are provided.

Q: 1. Take a compact flash card

A: It does not have a direct slot for the compact flash card but if you have a card reader then you can connect it to the USB port and the printer will read it. I am very happy with the quality of this printer and my customers are at awe when they get their prints. The only con is that it is not battery operated and you have to be careful not to lose the cover that covers the SD port. You will love this printer!

Q: 2. can this be battery powered?

A: No, it is AC powered only.

Q: 3. What is max phone width? I need ~88mm with my case on an iphone 12 pro max.

A: The Shure phone clamp included with the MV88+ kit opens to approximately 95mm (measuring the inside width from edge to edge) so you should not have a problem with your iPhone 12 Pro Max in a standard phone case. If you have a different phone clamp that you prefer using to mount your phone, you can use it together with the Manfrotto stand and MV88+ microphone, just as long as the phone clamp has 1/4"-20 threads on the top and bottom.

Q: 4. Is Phantom power required?

A: The Shure MV88+ Video Kit (BH # SHMV88DIGVK) is USB powered.

Q: 5. Can you put in all the different #251 XL ink cartridges in the PM-400 all at once or just One large Cartridge color and the regular size in the rest of the slots ?

A: PictureMate 400 printer only uses 1 ink cartridge. It is the #320 series.

Q: 6. Is there a mic adapter that would allow me to change the angle of this mic (using the provided Manfrotto tripod) so that I can better point it to my mouth?

A: You will not need an adapter for this, the ball joint at the top of the Manfrotto tripod is able to pivot so that you can adjust the tilt of the microphone.

Q: 7. What is the max distance for voice recording? I'm putting actors on tape and they are QUIET. Need something that can give them their space but still pick up their whisper acting.

A: The max distance for this microphone is between 3-5 feet away, the closer the microphone is place to the subject the best the audio will sound.

Q: 8. Which Smartphones with USB C connection for audio recording?

A: As long as you have an Android device which is compatible with the Shure MOTIV apps, you should be good to go. All you will need is a (short) USB-C to micro USB cable.

Q: 9. Can I use this mic with the Acapella online recording service? I saw some reviews that said the mic did not work for facetime, streaming, and some online apps. I want to do a collaborative music project in Acapella, and add an external microphone so that my instrument will sound good.

Q: 10. How do I print from my iphone

A: You have 2 options. 1) Connect the printer to your router and you can then use the Epson iPrint App to print from your iPhone.2) Enable Wifi Direct mode of the printer. You can then directly print from the iPhone to the printer without having the printer connect to a router. [3.385 lb] I was not hopeful that this mic would be sensitive enough to pick up all the individuals on a conference table that measures about 20' by 10'. I was happy to be wrong because it was the only solution I could come up with to meet my VIP users' demands. I paired it with a Shure USB/XLR adapter for use with Zoom. It picks up even the people who are facing away from it. The Zoom noise algorithm took care of the background noise due to the needed high sensitivity setting. It comes with a white wind screen that is not needed for my application, but it was an appreciated detail. The mic looks very clean hangs about 3' above the table top and is inobtrusive on the far end video. 5

[Black] I was first introduced to this mic when setting up a clinical teaching observation system, and they are nice microphones. I our situation, they hang straight down from the ceiling grid. They seem to pick up speech quite well in our clinic rooms. 5

[3.385 lb] Used for live sound with Allen & Heath WZ4 and QSC 16 kW system. Clear and crisp, very controlable especially going into low note vocals. This is a new purchase. Will have to see how it performs a few more times. 5
