The telescoping Matthews 1 1/4" Grip Rail Long 41-72"from Matthews 1 1/4" Grip Rail Long 41-72"has an adjustable length of 41-72" and is designed for on-the-fly adjustments for multiple lighting and grip applications. The telescoping rail is useful for rigging cameras, lights, backdrops, building rag frames, and more. It includes a clamp reducer, giving you the ability to mount clamps from end to end. Once the length is set, simply tighten the rod with the included grub set screws, or replace them with separately available T-handle knobs to go completely tool-free.

A: No it is tow large to fit the pin

A: Yes, one off the main stand and one on the extended arm.

A: There are a few C-stands that have wheels as an option, but not this one. However, you could construct a plywood platform and attach wheels to it. Just be sure to figure a way to keep the stand on the platform and balanced. Sands bags are a must when using C-stands for most uses.

A: If I was looking at the same light as you have it is only 7.5lb the stand will be able to handle double that weight.

A: No, it's not.

A: This is a sliding leg. It is not a turtle base.

A: They fold up and align together. They are not removable but I've found this is the best stand for transport. I can get 8 in the back seat floor area in my BMW 535. Great stand!

A: The mounting pin is a standard Junior pin, 1-1/8".

A: You bet, this is heavy duty. Use proper protocol in setting them up, because all stands can fall over. Look up C-stand Tutorial on youtube.

Q: 10. Looking for an outdoor C stand. I own a bunch of the impact turtle base kits, (Impact Turtle Base C-Stand Kit (10.75', Chrome) BH #IMLSCT40MK ), but this Matthews Cstand seems better than the impact sliding leg version, since the Matthews bottom legs are all one piece for sliding leg outdoors. would the impact grip heads/accessories fit on the matthews c stands?

A: Yes, the Impact grip heads and grip arms are compatible with other C-stands from Matthews.

[43.75 x 2 x 2"] I use this to mount lights in tight places along with a Manfrotto 026 Swivel. I used it a few times to mount a GH4 for an overhead shot in a kitchen. Very strong spring, need a string hand to open, but it stays put. 5
