Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. What is the exposure latitude of Delta 100?

A: It has been a long time since I stopped experimenting with similar issues. I think 50/200 is about it.I mainly use xtol, and am happy with results within that range.Hope this could be of some help

Q: 2. how many exposures do i get out of one roll of this film?

A: Having used this film for a while now, I'm happy with it...however, the number of exposures per roll depends on your camera. The most popular negative size is 6x6cm, or 60mm square. In which case, you will get 12 frames per roll. Next is 6x4.5cm (also known as 645 where the frame is higher than it is wide, in which case you will get 16. Then, there's 6x9cm, where you will get 8 exposures per roll. This applies to ALL 120 film. If your camera is equipped to use 220 film, you will get twice the number of exposures per roll, although the film is still about 62mm wide, it is twice the length, around 6 feet. Hope this answers your question!

Q: 9. For scanning with a flat bed scanner, will the developed film lay flat?

A: Depending on the scanner, there is usually a guide that will hold Kentmere Pan 100 Black & White Negative Film (120 Roll Film) flat for scanning.

Q: 10. How many exposures are on this roll of film?

A: That depends upon the type of Medium format camera you are using. There are at least three major frames sizes. The most common being the square 6 x 6 Centimeter or 2&1/4 X 2&1/4 used by the Rolleiflex TLR, Yashicamat and Hasselblad 500 series. In that case you will get 12 exposures per roll of 120 Delta 100 film.

[120] Used the roll to test a second-hand camera. Definitely love the results, especially considering the price.

[120] Decided to try it out given the price was good. I like the grain and the contrast, it performed well. Very good price, worth a try to see if you like it.

[1] As others have noted, this is Ektachrome 5294 movie film, spooled in to cassettes, for 35mm still cameras. It has great color, and saturation, as well pleasing skin tones. Like its sold by Kodak Alaris counterpart, it is a great all around film. I use it for all occasions, both in the studio, and outdoors. Since it is a movie film, it doesn't have frame numbers along the edges; not a big deal, just something to note.

[100] Nice way to add some variety and mix up what you shoot. For the price its worth buying a few rolls and seeing what you get. Lots of contrast and nice fine grain.

[1] This film was a real treat after buying it on a whim. I found the pop of color vibrancy on it, and its low grain, to be stellar. I live in Texas so we get plenty of bright sun, so this low ISO film is perfect for that. I know its just a repackaging of a Kodak aerial film, but that isn't really available to us consumers, but Flic Film Elektra is, and I plan to shoot more of it! I highly recommend it to photographers looking for fairly cheaper color negative film, and in applications where you like some nice extra reds and greens

[1] This is so much better then the canister squeeze contraption. I dont like these reload canisters, but this quick pic is the best way to open flic film canisters. I have LOTS of flic film and now feel comfortable shooting it because i can open the canisters. When you use the pic twist it and listen for the snap. Thats important for both tabs on the canister.

[120] This has been my go to color film since I discovered it last year. I've had great results every time. Great for street photography or indoors with my old school flash. Photo's shot with estate sale find Minolta X-370, Sigma 35-70mm lens.

[120] At first glance, I thought it was a wasted roll, but after some color corrections in Lightroom, the warm tones were there while still highlighting the natural colors that modern slide film highlights. I will definitely shoot with it again to see if I can fine tune the exposure a bit.
