Control and protect your sound system with the Ashly ne8800MMD, a network-enabled DSP processor that offers easy setup and control using standard 10/100 Ethernet protocol and Protea ne software. The ne8800MMD features four option bays for expanded functionality. This model includes the 8-channel mic pre input card and Dante network card.

The rear panel utilizes Euroblock connectors for easy and secure wiring. Additionally, the 12V Digital Logic I/O uses a 9-pin Euroblock connector that can be assigned to trigger a preset recall or push-to-talk mic function. A 10-pin Euroblock connector is for the 5 VDC Remote Level Control, which allows for up to eight user-defined remote DC level controls.

A: Yes, you still need an external amp with this system. The PCM 2000 in no way amplifies, only splits paging up into zones.

Q: 2. I have a Marantz TT 42 turntable that I'm trying to connect to a Mac. This Art DJ PRE II isn't getting it done. No matter what I've tried with changing settings and levels I still have hum and distortion. I've relocated the TT and the MAC to other parts of the house just to see if it might be the power grounding of the house still no help. I had a Rolls VP 29 connecting them fine but it didn't last long at all until the power connection failed. This ART DJ seems to have an issue similar to the Rolls. It also has to have the power connection just right or it crackles and hums terribly. Anyone having the same issue or having any luck connecting a Marantz TT42? With the Rolls I even used it to connect a vintage JVC QL-F61 to several surround receivers and my MAC.

The lens wipes, while suitable for lenses, are made of a microfine tissue compared to the slightly thicker cleaning cloths. The cleaning cloths are made of a "cloth" material for premium cleaning and less streaking.

Q: 10. If I input a 3.5mm mic will that get phantom power, and if so, how much, or is it just through the XLR connections?

A: Phantom power is provided through an XLR connection only. Mics that require power with a 3.5mm jack usually require plug in power which is approximately 2 - 5 volts. The MX310 is not able to provide this power.

I use this product in our committee rooms, legislative house, and senate chambers. It is very easy to add and network together for the perfect control. It would be nice to have a web connect feature for internet remote access control (hint, hint). 5

Adding this card to Ashly Digimix24 will release the full power of the mixer, allowing you to use all input/output channels in your PC/DAW/iPad. It works flawlessly, and my only minor complaint might be that the latency is not as low as e.g. my RME UCX, but still in the very close to it and in the unnoticeable side of things (about 5-6mS full duplex). This also has to do with the sample rate used (48KHz), while UCX can go up to 192KHz, which reduces latency further. All things considered, I suggest Ashly USB-32 without a second thought! Service of B&H was also awesome, arriving to the other end of the world (New Zealand) in very short time and without issues! 5
