The Tiffen 3x4" CC50M Magenta Filteris a color compensating (or color correction) filter for use when making color balance adjustments. It can be used to alter the color balance of a scene by placing in front of a light source or the lens of your camera. It can also be used to apply color corrections when used in the darkroom with an enlarger or to help pre-visualize color adjustments when viewing prints.

Magenta is the opposite of green and can be used to reduce green tones or casts within a scene or print. This magenta CC50 is more dense than a CC40 filter and less dense than a CC70 filter, and requires a 0.6 stop compensation for normal exposure results.

Tiffen filters are made using ColorCore technology; a process that involves laminating the filter substrate between 2 pieces of optical glass and grinding flat to a tolerance of 1/10,000th of an inch. This filter measures 3 x 4" / 76.2 x 101.6mm.

I have an Artesian 1430 printer I had streaks running across a print so I cleaned the heads my inks got wiped out so I lost a set of inks is there a better way to utilize inks or is there a better ink delivery sister? I see that the price of inks have doubled, what can I do short of no longer using that printer?

A: I have never had that problem of my inks being wiped out. Often I have to clean the heads sometimes 6 times of more. If cartridges are near empty you may have to replace those. But after cleaning my prints are fine.

A: Unfortunately, the grid requires a fully assembled Westcott 12 x 50 strip bank to be used properly.

Q: 7. I just received my 6 type 79 cartridges and the boxes don't have the Genuine Epson Color Shifting Label that was on the hanger tab portion of the box on cartridges purchased previously. Did Epson stop including that on their cartridges packages or did I receive counterfeit Epson ink from B&H?

A: Epson makes only one size capacity for the Artisan 1430. There is not a standard and high capacity.

A: Unfortunately, this grid has not been tested with the ARRI Chimera Lightbank with Frame for SkyPanel S60 B&H # ARCLBS60. However, a compatible grid is the Chimera 40 Fabric Grid (Medium) B&H # CHGF40M.

A: There are two different styles of light modifiers that this stripbank will fit.
