Extend your HDMI signal range up to 196' with this HDMI Extender over Cat 5e/6 with IR & Loop Outfrom Vanco. This transmitter/receiver extender pair connects one HDMI video source over single Cat 6/5e cables to a single HDMI display on the receiver end. The transmitter's HDMI loop output port enables you to split the audio and video signals for cascading to additional displays.

The extender set supports video resolutions up to 1080p60 and is HDCP compliant. Features include EDID management via the transmitter or the receiver loop-out, Dolby, DTS and PCM audio compatibility, and EQ adjusting from the receivers. One 5 VDC power supply included with this set, and only one is required to power both units using Power over Ethernet.

A: We are not aware of D-Tap cable that will plug in to the barrel connection this monitor. However, since this monitor is powered by Sony NP-F or L style batteries you could try the GyroVu D-Tap to Sony L-Series Intelligent Dummy Battery (30"). [1x HDMI Female] Have tried a couple others but mixed results. This one works with everything we plug in. Never worry about it not connecting. We have it at front of church to feed PA booth and another one that feeds projectors. The extra out on the transmitter means we can use signal for a monitor in back as well as big screen in front. Been a BH customer since the days of magazines. Always my first goto. 5

[Device: (5 W)] I have 3 of these in the theater I operate, and have had zero problems in the 2 years I've had them. Competing brands I've had would randomly drop sync, and were hard to get to connect. With this one, just plug in the receiver end, then the transmitter end (+ power), and it just connects! I've yet to have one of these drop signal, or even glitch due to sync loss. It's a solid unit at a fantastic price. 5

[Dolby Digital] I do professional AV installations and have used all Crestron extenders on all my projects previously. Recently I worked with a client on a very tight budget and decided to try this. I was pleasantly surprised at the cost, no issues and synced right up. They use the system every week. 5

[Dolby Digital] I run an AV installation and rental company, and we have used many products like this one over the last few years. I have found the CHE-1 to be a very cost effective way to transport HDMI over long cat5e/6 runs. We have had only 1 failure of the units weve installed, and our records show we have installed 234 of them at the time I'm writing this. That unit was easily swapped out with no issues. The picture quality is excellent, comparable to 2-wire units costing a lot more. HDMI baluns do not always retain the rich color of the source signal, however it has never been an issue with these units. Excellent color, excellent performance. I find this product to be dependable, fairly priced, and of high quality. Specs: 2 input HDMI ports, with a dip switch to select which you want to use. 150 feet max run We recommend using cat6, if possible, with longer runs. Note: Some reviews complain that this unit is not compatible with an ethernet switch, or router. This is true. However, I will make the statement that just because a device uses a Cat5/6 connector (RJ-45) does not mean it is an ethernet device. Many types of technology use the RJ-45 connector and Cat type cables due to their low cost and ease of installation. This is a balun, not a netwrking device. If you want a networkable HDMI device, you need to check out a 100BASE-T compatible video system. 5

[Device: (5 W)] We all have experienced the thrill of finding a great product for a next-to-nothing price. It does happen, about as often as winning the jackpot at the casino. The truth is, in real life, if you run a business or have a project which just HAS to work without trouble, you're likely to have to spend some money. The trick is not spending more than you need to. The Comprehensive CHE-1 HDMI Extender is a perfect example of how to do it right. I tried to save money by buying two other brands of less expensive extenders, and, don't get me wrong, they worked. Just not reliably. I tested the CHE-1 extenders as soon as I received them. They are well packed, have good instructions, and have aced my tests, which are to operate continuously for more than a week in both cold rooms and rooms at normal human temperatures. No black interference lines in the picture. No flickering, a good solid picture on a 100 foot length of Cat 5e cable. I am glad I bought two of these. I will buy more for future projects. They have earned my trust. 5

[Auto-Detect] I used this to convert an older PC to HDMI out as Im turning it into a retro gaming emulation system. Worked great...Im able to hear/see perfect audio/visual from my 10+ year old PC onto my less than 1 year old receiver and 4k TV. Exactly what I needed! 5

[Device: (5 W)] I have used a number of HDMI over CAT extenders, usually with difficulty. I had my best experience with this one. It worked perfectly the first time I tried it with just one tweak to the skew adjustment. I am using it to duplicate a monitor from a computer and having a HDMI In and a HDMI Out on the transmitter made this very easy. This is going to be my go-to extender in the future. And by the way, the price is also great. 5
