[Black] This is a handsome piece of equipment. If there is an adjective more buttery than "buttery", I'd use it to describe the well-machined form and function of this RRS head. It is a centerpiece of an integrated system of RRS gear, all thought out for compatibility. Expensive, yes: but it is a lot more expensive to buy other gear, only to find out its drawbacks and stick it on the shelf or in the corner. Going "top shelf" right at the start is actually the efficient and economic way to go. 5

It holds firm and secure and the clamp is very well built and is a nice easy system to quickly lock your body or lens securely to the ball head. My BH-25 was purchased for my star tracker and it's a perfect fit. 5
