[1.545 lb] A unique twist to the inserts. Pelican usually places an insert that encompasses the entire bottom section of the case. This time they only came up 3/4 of the way up and placed another removable insert on top of that for addition smaller gear. Included is a handy shoulder strap allowing you to carry to location much easier. I modified it to for easy mounting on the rear rack of a touring bicycle.

[1.545 lb] I work in the film industry as a DIT. On some locations I am unable to bring my main DOP/DIT monitoring cart and must set up a compact mobile station. Usually I use a camera battery bag to transfer the wireless iris controls, marked iris rings, spare batteries, recording monitor and other accessories to the mobile station. The Pelican 1434 with dividers is a great improvement over the soft battery bag: rigid, waterproof, adjustable compartments and a strap for hanging the case on the mobile monitor station. Very satisfied.

[1.545 lb] For me it is a great improvement over my 1300 case because of the top load feature. It fits perfectly in a canoe and I can access my camera very quickly. I have not used the foam insert yet. I just put my camera bag in there and it works fine. I was able to fit my nikon D5100, two extra lenses, go pro camera with several different mounts.

[1.545 lb] I purchased this Top Loader to carry my camera on Kayak adventures. I needed something that was waterproof, accessible and able to accomodate my camera with telescopic lense attached. This is the perfect solution! I love the shoulder strap so that I can keep my hands free for carrying gear to and from the water. The size is perfect to sit between my knees while paddling without interference of motion. (I have a sit IN kayak). The divider insert is perfect for the camera, extra lenses and other accessories. The net pouches at the top keep my smaller gear organized and accessible. There is even a pocket for my car keys. Excellent adventure companion!

[1.545 lb] Required a small, secure, weatherproof case for a Canon XF100 and 2 Go Pro cameras with accessories for multi-day wilderness kayaking. The case, with divider set, provided good protection for enough equipment for 8 days of filming in less than ideal conditions. This is my 6th and smallest Pelican case - it wont be my last.

[1.545 lb] A canoe is my way to get close to wildlife.  The Pelican case provides protection but at the same time allows easy access to my camera for a quick shot.  I fabricated a felt covered bracket that cradles my 80-400 mm lens, hood and camera at an angle in the case for easy access.  The lid of the case opens quietly and stays open which reduces unwanted noise when withdrawing the camera, (a great feature).  The case is well built and recommmended.
