[USB-C Male] This is the only adapter that could maximise my USB port on my NAS (DS918 ) and connect to my pc. Bought 2 as my pc doesn't have spare pcie slots. USB C was the only way to go. Good stuff! 5

[Cable] Many reviews mention problems on MacOS, but it works without problem on MacOS 10.15 and 11, just be sure to install the driver, restart and that's it. The adapter is immediately recognized and provides read speeds up to 430MB/s and write up to 350MB/s. Not the full 5Gb speed but much better than Gigabit. Construction is solid, it gets warm but not super hot. A usb-C to usb-C cable would be better than the included usb-C to usb-A. 5
