The single Eartec Scrambler SC-1000 Simplex Wireless Radiofrom Eartec is capable of a range of up to 1 mile, and can work with an unlimited number of other SC-1000 PLUS radios. It operates in simplex mode, which means one radio can transmit at a time, while the message is received by all other radios.

The radio has 16 channel combinations and 38 privacy codes for blocking interference. Its built-in rechargeable battery can be recharged with the included standup charger.

A: This answer has been updated: No this will not work with the A77. The FA-WRC1M is only compatible with the A7 II, A7R II, A7S II using the most current firmware.

A: The FA-WRC1M Wireless Radio Commander is only capable of firing an RM type Sony flash with the camera set to use its mechanical shutter.

[14] I USE THIS RADIOS FOR COMMUNICATING VERY DISCRETE DOING VIDEO EVENTS, THE BATTERY WILL LAST MAYBE 5 HOURS , GET EXTRA BATTERIES JUST IN CASE, THE AUDIO IS CLEAR AND RANGE IS 2 BLOCK DISTANCE. 5

[7.2 V ] I work in a bowling alley and these radios make a good radio to communicate with front and the other mechanics even over the machines which can be very loud. I always get a good clear sound and never miss someone talking to me 5

[0.38 W] PREVIOUS REVIEW DESCRIBED CONDITION OF OUTER BOX; I FORGOT TO MENTION THAT THERE WAS A CRUNCH OF A CORNER OF THE INNER BOX WITH THE UNIT; FORTUNATELY THE UNIT IS VERY WELL INSULATED WITH STYROFOAM AND SEEMS OKAY; BUT THE EFFECT OF A SERIOUS SHOCK TO THE ELECTRONICS SEEMS TO STILL BE DETERMINED; ASSUMING NO PROBLEMS, FROM THE STATE OF THE BOXES I BELIEVE THE UNIT ITSELF WILL BE EXCELLENT 5
