[Handle] This case is being used for my a7siii. Tight fit but it works. Nanuk cases are excellent

[Olive Green] nanuk cases are great and i really prefer the latches to their big competitor. the 920 is going to make an excellent compact mountain bike tool travel case.

[Olive Green] Bought this as an extra case to store my monitors, lavs and miscellaneous cords. The pockets up top are a little small but great for those little bits and pieces.

[Cubed Foam] Despite using other Nanuk cases, I was not prepared for how useful this case would be. The 920 is optimally sized for people working with small lenses (e.g. Voigtlanders, Loxias) or audio equipment (e.g. most large diaphragm condensers fit perfectly). I was able to fit a set of 9 Voigtlanders in a single case, or half a dozen lenses with two FX3's. 4-5 LDC's could alternately be fit. The weight is about as much as I would want to carry by hand, so the shoulder strap is optional but not a bad idea.

The top organizer will perfectly hold 4 Sony Z-type batteries each in the top slots and 3-4 small to medium sized filters in their cases in the bottom slots. You can squeeze a Letter sized notebook in the pocket.

The graphite color is very attractive and a welcome departure from black without being garish or sticking out if it were caught in the background a shot.

It is worth noting that you can alternately purchase a kit of padded dividers with a foam lid insert, and combine this with an empty 920 case, in case you do not want the lid organizer or wish to avoid all risk of scratches.

[7.75 lb] This is an excellently designed case with complete flexibility for layout with the removable velcro pads. The push-down lock design is brilliant and effortless to use, and very secure. The size is designed for DSLRs, but I was able to fit a BMPCC 4K camera and 3 cinema lenses in a good configuration with room for batteries and a couple accessories. For any more equipment one of the larger sizes would be needed.

[Latch] After a case from the P manufacturer, I decided to try Nanuk and have not looked back. I have reorganized all my telescope equipment to fit into color coded cases (black for night, yellow for solar, red for eyepieces, orange for my eQuinox 2, and graphite for power and computers... not that it matters). The latches take a little getting used to as you have to intend to open them as opposed to popping open accidentally in transit or from handling, but now they are second nature.


I always get the foam insert and then customize for the equipment. I see comments from others about the foam, but it is the same pick-n-pluck foam that you see from several sources.


The cases seal nicely, which is great protection from the elements.


I do agree that it is likely cheaper to purchase the parts replacement than to ship it to Canada if something goes wrong, but you need to factor in the probability that it will be necessary... which from my experience is incredibly slim.


If there was one wish it would be that they would have colored latches available for purchase. Oh, and it would be nice to have a tripod case to match my other cases.


I do prefer them over other brands. Today I added a 918 and a 962 to my collection.

[Yes] I use it to transport my tools and equipment for work daily for over a year and love the lid organizer and latches on this case. I modified it and used a Veto Pro Pack insert in the bottom of the case to hold my stuff.

[Latch] This case is everything I needed for a rugged field case and I cannot be more pleased.

[Cubed Foam] I am impressed with every aspect of the case. I am sure you could toss it out of a moving vehicle over land or water without any damage to the contents. The cubed foam interior is ingenious and simple to configure. I am using it to carry a pair of astronomy binoculars. I highly recommend it.
