I was looking at this as well as a Role and decided to go with this instead. I'm used to standard-sized keys and playing in standard positions. I can do everything the Role can do (IMO) without having to learn a new way to play.

The only hiccup was in setup. I downloaded the files but I couldn't get it working in Logic using their software. I downloaded the full version of Falcon, thinking that that would help, but it didn't.

Eventually, I found a tutorial on YouTube and got it working. I don't mind having the full version of Falcon either.

Looking forward to making beautiful, expressive music.

This light is fantastic. It is bright, has rich colors and can be programmed to do a lot of different looks. I am very happy with my purchase and plan on buying another.

Unit did not work at first. I called B&H technical dept. They could not help, but they referred me to Optex in CA. Tech dept. manager at Optex had me try several procedures, but unit still did not work. He sent me a new annunciator and adaptor that day. The problem was the adaptor. Now that it works, I love it!

We like this alarm. When we moved we left our driveway behind.. We tried 2 other alarms, but did not like them. I finally contacted the new owners to have them tell me the brand we had used before. They told us and I ordered it. It works just like it did at the old house and we like it alot.

I needed a small portable light for general photo projects, so I ordered one of these. I wasn't expecting anything special, but I was pleasantly surprised when this great little marvel arrived. It's easy to use and surprisingly bright if you need it to be. The light is certainly flexible and very well designed. It's easy to charge and the light lasts a long time between charging. The build quality is top-notch and the light is an exceptional asset to my small kit. Several people who have seen it noticed the high quality and asked me where they can buy one. You can buy small LED light elsewhere for less, but this one is worth every penny and I'm sure glad that I got mine and I enjoy using it every time I need a little extra light in any of my shots...

(1) installed @ front door (home) & (1) @ back door area - from detached garage witch is 25'+ from rear entry (under soffit). No false alarms. Works Great much better than other devices.

Love what it does, when once your done with getting the system
properly configured.


Documentation is limited, but plenty of videos exists on SoundSwitch
site and Utube. Please watch all before starting.


Be patient with support from New Zealand via email. Their support
staff is top notch. If they have to look at your system over the internet they will to correct setup problems. May require more than
one view.


Watching support configure setup problem I say the following.

I bought this because I noticed that my webcam and the ambient lighting in my room were not doing an adequate job of illuminating my face for Zoom chats. I had originally bought a ring light but that just looked too bulky and it gave my glasses weird reflections so I had to send it back.


I bought this VIJIM light without high expectations because it is cheap and small but it solved my problem and it the quality and performance are better than I expected.


I just keep this on the shelf that is right on top of my monitor and point it slightly downwards and it does the job of a much larger light. The light is also not harsh since I can control the intensity and the color temperature. I look very natural in videos now and it looks as if I have light coming in from all sides even though this unit is just illuminating from the front and above. It's quite amazing how much better the picture is now.


The unit itself is built very well. It's made of a high quality plastic and it just feels great in your hands with some weight to it. Also, the battery readout on the back is ingenious as it has four red lights to let you know how much you have left. The color temp and intensity switches are conveniently on the top and very easy to adjust.


I also plan on using this with my camera to make videos.


This is one of the better purchases I have made in recent months and I am very happy with it. I'm actually going to buy two more and use them as fill lighting.

I use this for a DIY alarm system in my house. I have 3 sensors connected to one base unit. The base unit is connected to a power source and an external 30w siren. The sensors detect motion...siren sounds. I turn power on and off via smart plug on my phone.
Works like a charm.

My only concern would be for the durability of the sensors. As can be imagined sensors are usually placed in high traffic areas which means activity happens all day long. If this will affect longevity of the product I do not know, only time will tell.
