[Black] I needed a Vixen dovetail rail for my Celestron 180 Maksutov that would require no drilling. When I contacted Celestron to find a replacement for the Losmandy rail that originally came with the scope, they said to find a third-party supplier. This product worked without any modifications and allowed me to use my Evolution mount. 5

[Black] Works like a charm. Not in the market to buy a light tracking mount for my camera since I have a Celestron EVO tracker. The vixen dovetail works perfectly to mount the camera and lens. An inexpensive solution; plus it's easy to replace exactly where it was since it has ruler markings. 5

[Aluminum] With a slot plus several holes, you can probably attach most scopes/mounting rings. Some of the holes are threaded 1/4-20 and those can be useful for attaching to a mount that isn't a Vixen dovetail. I used it to attach a Sky-Watcher Startravel 120 to an old Televue Panoramic mount as well as to a dovetail. 5

[Aluminum] Bought this to hold an old ETX90 optical tube on an iOptron Cube Pro. Works fantastic. Easy to balance the OTA assembly even with a DSLR camera attached. 5
