[Metal] I change my review to a four. The issue with the error pertains to amount of power required at start-up. If the power is too great, just as those associated with hair dryers, the circuit (GFCI) will trip/default. It has been my experience that the power socket/outlet can not interface with a GFCI receptacle. Furthermore, some batteries lack the necessary power/amps required at start-up. The solution is to use a strong battery source and/or circuit not connected to a GFCI. This information should be printed on the material. Bottomline: these are great strobes if powered from a source that can handle to amp, without disruption at start-up. The strobe will work flawless afterwards.

[Silver] I purchased the Hensel Octaform Lightbank (5', 150cm) for my personal studio. I am an amateur photographer. I paired the Lightbank with the Chimera Octaplus speed ring. I used this setup with my Hensel Integra 500W monolights. Setup. I had never used a softbox of any kind. I was puzzled how the speed ring and box went together (no directions for either), but found a Hensel video on YouTube and my questions were answered. The first time it was difficult to get all of the metal supports to go into the ring but got better with practice. By the second time, I found it was easy. Same with takedown. I found it easiest to gently bend the box against an upholstered chair and the takedown was easy. Quality The materials seem to be very sturdy. The supplied carry bag in which to place the pieces was a bit small to my liking but i got everything in. Light I got some gorgeous pics using this modifier. For some, it served as a bright white background for some portraits. In another setup, the large light provided a nice soft light across my model, who was on all fours on a bench. I have had this device for only one photo session but I think it is an improvement over my old umbrellas. I highly recommend it.

[Metal] Having the chance to use great light modifiers like the Broncolor PARA system of parabolic umbrellas for users of Non-Broncolor Flashes ( strobes), gives photographers a cool alternative to explore many lighting options for both studio and location work.

BH is offering both the adapters for Profoto and Elinchrom brands of strobes, so photographers do not have to spend such large amounts of money in purchasing yet another Parabolic umbrella if, by any chance, they already have access to a Broncolor Para. At this moment, I own the 3 adaptors and only one Umbrella.

The adaptor fits nicely into the Broncolor unit and works as expected. Users of both Profoto or Elinchrom strobes may need to add an extra sandbag of counterweight, as both strobes tend to be larger and heavier than the standard Broncolor strobes but other than that, the system works wonderfully.

[Metal] Waited months for this product but worth the wait. It is a great tool as a modifier and I happy that I purchased two. The only problem is the price - but all manufacturers of decent lighting equipment overcharge for modifiers/accessories.

[Silver] This reflector has a 50 degree angle with a very even lighting across the span. It provides 1-1/3 f-stops more light than the standard 7 90 degree reflector and 2/3 f-stops more than the 9 Medium 50 degree reflector so I'm able to conserve battery on my Porty L 1200 by using lower power settings. It's a little cumbersome to transport so I just use the box it came in. I also have the 14 30 degree reflector which gives 1-1/3 f-stops more light than the 12 but you can't really use that one for groups up close like you can with the 12.
