A: The Ultra Matte and the Ultra Clear offer the same protection however, the Ultra Matte uses a matte finish to reduce glare/reflections and the Ultra Clear uses polarization to reduce glare/reflection. The effect of the polarization on the Ultra Clear may vary based on the direction of the source of light ( similar to a polarizer filter) and the Matte finish is more uniform in regards to controlling glare/reflections.

[2.76 lb] Usually operate my 702 Touch without any hood, as it's already large-ish on my FX6. Does not seem to diminish image quality shown on monitor either. A prior one saved my 702 Touch, so cheap insurance for beloved and pricey on-cam monitors. 5

[22.75 x 14 x 1"] Twice I've had ACs drop or smash my SmallHD monitor, both times it looked like the screen was completely cracked and both times it turned out only the screen protector cracked and my monitor was fine. Did the screen protector save my monitor? Possibly! Per the other reviews, I have had no issues attaching this to my monitor (one time I didn't apply it quite straight and I had to push out the air bubbles but once I did that no further problems). I also don't feel that the protector limits my ability to tell critical focus when I zoom in on my monitor. 5

[24"] Doesn't interrupt with picture and touch screen. Lay it down gently and the bubbles will flow out on their own. 5

[22.75 x 14 x 1"] The stock screen that comes with the monitor is like a mirror. This one's not perfect but is miles better at reducing glare. As someone who pulls with the screen on, this is a necessity. It should be the standard option in my opinion. 5

[24"] Works great. Cuts down on glare with no color shift to the image. Too expensive. The standard locking screen protector that comes with the unit is good too. 5
